Ms. Paisley and Mr. Chevy were the very first pups to enjoy our brand new outdoor dog yards today and it’s safe to say they definitely approve!

Nothing beats happy tails, fresh air, and plenty of room to play!

**Construction Update**

It’s a little bit of organized chaos over here at our new vet clinic! Right now, we have multiple teams working hard all at once -electrical, mechanical, and casework crews are all making big progress (sometimes on top of each other 😅).

The exciting part? We’ve received our first shipment of casework, and it’s looking fantastic! You can really start to see the vision coming together.

We’ve also got carpet down in the office spaces, and the cove work is just about complete - bringing us one step closer to the finish line.

Thank you for following along as we build a space designed to better serve you and your pets. We can’t wait to open our doors soon!

**Construction Update**

We’re getting closer every day to opening the doors of our new building! This week, Skold Construction Services has been hard at work on installing the epoxy floors. They are applying the final coat today. Once that’s complete, the floors will need a 48 hour cure period, and then casework installation will begin!

While progress continues to move forward, we do have a small scheduling update. Unfortunately, our move-in timeline has been pushed back one week from the originally expected date of March 30.

**Our first official day of business in the new building will now be Monday, April 6**

To celebrate, we’re excited to invite the community to an open house on Saturday, April 11! During the event, the public will be able to walk through the building and experience the flow of the hospital just like a typical appointment would. Stay tuned for more information on the open house!

We’ll also have:

* Door prizes

We can’t wait to share our new space with you and appreciate your patience as we complete the final steps of this exciting project. Stay tuned for more updates!

Dry wall is finished and textured. Painters are currently on site doing their thing!
Epoxy floors are on the schedule for next week followed by casework.

February is Pet Dental Health Month!

Dental health is about so much more than bad breath. Chronic dental disease has been linked to cancer, autoimmune disease, and chronic inflammation - which means oral health affects the entire body.

We often hear:
👉 “He just had a dental 6 months ago—how are his teeth that bad already?”

Imagine if you only went to the dentist every 6 months but never brushed your teeth at home. Dental cleanings are crucial, but daily care matters just as much.

Our recommendations:
• Brush your pet’s teeth daily to every other day. We typically recommend a finger brush for most patients. Tooth paste is not necessary but can make for a more willing pet in some cases.
• Don’t rely on dental chews alone - many dogs chew with only a few teeth, so only those teeth benefit. These chews typically have a large calorie content as well.

Dental cleanings at our hospital include:
✔ Pre-anesthetic bloodwork
✔ Anesthesia
✔ Full-mouth dental radiographs
✔ Scaling and removal of tartar
✔ Polishing
✔ Application of a barrier sealant
