The Fourth of July is a fun celebration for us but for many of our furry friends, fireworks can be overwhelming. Help keep your pets safe, comfortable and at home this holiday with these simple tips:
**Safety First**
• Check ID Tags & Microchips: Make sure your pet's ID tags are current and that their microchip information is up to date.
• Potty Before Dusk: Take your dog out for a final potty break before fireworks begin. Even in a fenced yard, keep them on a leash. Unexpected fireworks can startle even the calmest pets.
• Secure Your Home: Close windows, blinds and curtains to help reduce flashing lights and

• Set up a cozy retreat in a quiet room, crate, or interior space with their favorite bed, blankets and toys.
