My name is Dori, and I am a wife, and mom of 2 teenagers, and 4 furbabies (1 cat & 3 dogs) and BIG animal lover. I have my Bachelor's degree in Education, and taught for a little while, but I've always wanted to work with animals. That's my true passion! After being a stay at home mom for 10 years, I wanted to do something that I not only loved, but also worked with my kids’ school schedule. I sta

rting petsitting for Dogvacay and Rover, and then went off on my own. I’ve been pet sitting/ dog walking for 8 years. I love offering a cage free home setting, or being able to take care of pets in their own homes where they’re more comfortable, instead of being stuck in a kennel. At our home, the dogs are free to roam the downstairs. They are welcome on the couch (I love to snuggle with them), or dog beds. They are also welcome to sleep in bed with me. We have a big, fenced in yard for them to play and go potty, and a pool for dogs that like to swim. The dogs love to sunbathe on our deck. In the early evening, we love to go for a nice walk in the neighborhood. My husband and kids are also animal lovers, and love to help with the dogs. My daughter (age 18) even wants to follow in my footsteps, and work with animals. Her goal is to have her own animal rescue one day. If there is a dog staying here that is nervous around the other dogs, or just needs a quiet break, Kayla loves to take them upstairs and cuddle with them. My services include dog boarding and daycare in my home for dogs under 50 pounds, and over 1 year old (must be neutered/ spayed). I also do drop in visits at the pet's home as many times a day as needed for any size, age, or type of pet. I will do walking, potty breaks, playing, feeding, give medication, clean litter box, bring in mail, water plants, etc. I will also do overnights at the pet's home if preferred, depending on my schedule. I’m insured and bonded through Pet Sitter Associates. I have experience with senior dogs, and dogs with medical conditions, and giving medication. I always send daily updates and pictures to let you know how your pet is doing. I treat all the animals that I take care of, like my own. Expect them to be spoiled! Hello everyone! I’m not one to ask for help, but just like everyone else, all of my expenses are going up, and I’m struggling. And since being divorced, I’m doing it all on my own. The thought of possibly having to close my business, is heartbreaking. I have so many of you that I really care about, and I know that you depend on me to take great care of your pets. I am sharing my Amazon wish list with everyone, in hopes of getting help. These are just some of the things that I regularly spend my money on for business and personal reasons. I lost another fur client. It’s the hardest part of the job, but I wouldn’t change it. Lani was one of my first boarders, when I started my business, over 10 years ago. She was such a sweet girl, and will definitely be missed. My heart goes out to the Dressler Family during this difficult time.❤️🐶😢

Hi! My name is Dori, and I am a mom of 2 kids, and 4 furbabies (2 cats & 2 dogs) and BIG animal lover. I have always had pets and couldn't imagine life without them. I’ve been pet sitting/ dog walking for over 6 years. I have lots of time to take care of other people's fur-babies since my kids are teenagers now.
