Please meet Vernon. (The person who writes the bios doesn’t always have any influence on what the pets’ are named. Just note that will ya?)

…..anyway, back to Vernon…

This good looking orange tabby guy came to us as a stray in late October. He is believed to be 10 months old, weighs 9 pounds, and has been neutered.

Now Vernon has a bell. He’s not especially attached to the bell, but it’s worth noting that this is among his worldly possessions.

Vernon was exceptionally focused on getting the task of getting his photo taken and published. The photographer only needed a couple of clicks before the perfect pose was captured. (Bell and all.)

Vernon told us to hurry and get his photo out there because he knew someone would see it and immediately rush over to Animal Control and adopt him. We told he we would hurry because we wanted him to live his best life with the right person.

Are you that person? How do you feel about bells? Vernon likes them – maybe you could too!!!

Please adopt Vernon!

Vernon’s ID number is A1248515

Good Golly Miss Molly!!

This sweet girl came to us in mid-October as a stray. She is believed to be 2 years of age, weighs 37 pounds, is a cur mix of sorts, and has been spayed.

Now Miss Molly didn’t seem to mind having her photo taken, but she did mention she preferred to be outside chasing leaves that get blown around by the wind. She told us that she really enjoyed the cooler weather – same Molly, same.

She also said she enjoys getting cozy next to her best friend and that she was eager to finally meet that perfect someone who would help her be a good doggo.

So, please know that Molly is waiting on you. She is being patient. But she is eager to enjoy time with you as soon as possible.

Please adopt Molly!

The name Morgana has Welsh origins and means “sea fortress.” Huh. Didn’t expect that did you? (Us either.)

Well, anyway….Please say hello to Morgana. This young lady came to us as a stray in late September.

She is believed to be 11 months old, she weighs 7 pounds, has been spayed, and is wearing her lovely fall colors.

Now Morgana didn’t much care for her photo session. She kept trying to make herself as small as possible as to not draw too much attention. But we told her she was being entirely too modest and that she should show off that beautiful outfit!

She seemed pleased with that and gave us a sweet forward facing pose.

This little lady is very demure. She is dainty. And she is in need of a loving family. Can you please come to visit Morgana? Tell her you think she is divine and then take her home!!

This is Toby.

Now let’s get something straight. There are black cats. Then there are black-black cats. Then there is Toby.

This amazing looking guy, that actually glistens, came to us as a stray in late October. He is approximately 4 years of age, weighs 9.5 pounds, and has been neutered.

Now Toby is every bit the self-confident guy. He kept testing every corner of the “backdrop” to find the weakest point. Unfortunately for him, we figured out pretty quick this guy was plotting his domination of the situation. So, we kept him busy with toys and other things.

He’s a thinker this one. He will need a good home filled with things to occupy his curiosity and enchanting ways. He is quite the mysterious one.

But we’re confident you can meet him in the middle – you can figure out how to keep him busy with playtime. You can certainly offer him a sunny place to nap in and otherwise be his match!

Please come and adopt this intimidating cat!

Snoop is in the house!

This fun fellow came to us as a stray in early October, is approximately 2 years of age, weighs 44 pounds and has been neutered. He is a black and white cur mix of sorts.

Now Snoop was too funny. He LOVED the attention of getting his photo taken. He thought the funny noises the photographer was making was a hoot!

He would sit on command, but acted like he had springs in his backside and would bounce right back up!

He was happy and very friendly to all in the room. We think Snoop (dog) would make a great side-kick on any adventure you care to have!

Please adopt Snoop

Hollis says Hello!

Hollis came to us as a stray in late September. She is believed to be 1.5 years of age, weighs 9 pounds, and has been spayed. Hollis is wearing her best tortie outfit.

The name Hollis has English origins and means “dweller in the holly trees.” (Well that’s just about useless…) …anyway……

Miss Hollis was not interested in getting her photo taken. Nope. Not at all. She was certainly calm and polite, but she really didn’t want to look at the camera.

She chose to be very coy about the entire situation. So, if you’re looking for a cat that perhaps will ignore you. Then, Hollis is your girl.

Seriously, she will probably be more enthusiastic when someone isn’t poking a camera at her, so give her a chance. Give this girl some consideration and a loving home where she can be herself!

Hollis’ ID number is A1246776

Please say hello to Stanley.

This guy came to us as a stray in early October, so we don’t know much about his past. We do know he is looking for a future with you!!!

Stanley is a tricolored cur mix of sorts, is believed to be 2 years of age, weighs 26 pounds and has been neutered.

Now Stanley was a bit unsure about this whole photograph thingy. He was not rude at all. But he told us this was not his idea of a good time.

So, we asked him, “Stanley, what is your idea of a good time?” He gave it some thought and finally said, “To play outside with someone who will love me forever. To have a place where I can be myself and not worry about impressing anyone. To feel comfortable and confident all the time.”

These were all very valid ideas, and we told him we agreed. We said we would add that to his biographical information and ask that our followers consider giving him a hand with his ideas.

So? How’s about it? Wanna make Stanley happy? Wanna give him a chance at a happy life? Then hurry on over to Animal Control and tell him you’re in!!!

Please adopt Stanley.

The name Sebastian has Greek origins and means revered. Now that’s just cool!

Our Sebastian came to us in mid-October and certainly needs to be revered! He is a black and white cur mix of sorts, weighs 53 pounds and is 2-years of age. He has been neutered.

Sebastian was one of those doggos that seemed to love the poofy backdrop. He plopped down and told us we would have to get his photo laying down. Then he raised one ear as if to say “I’m not kidding.” We said ok.

This sweet boy needs more poofy things to lay on. Really, he just needs a new poofy life. One filled with playtime outside, lounging inside, and plenty of belly rubs.

He deserves to be revered in your home! Please adopt Sebastian!

Midnight has left the building!!! Goodluck in your new furever home!!!
****************************
Please say hello to Midnight!

This is one good-looking guy!

Midnight came to us as a stray in late September. Midnight is a black and brown German Shepherd. He is believed to be 8 years of age, weighs 85 pounds, and has been neutered.

And he was amazing to work with! While he was absolutely a gentleman, his presence commanded attention.

He preferred to stand – the poofy black backdrop didn’t appeal to him. But he was very attentive to the people working with him. His tail wagged, he didn’t object to the process, and otherwise was an amazing fellow.

This is a perfect example of why people should adopt and not shop! This guy knows stuff – and we are confident he knows he is handsome.

Please consider giving him a chance at a new life with you! Please adopt this very handsome fellow.

Introducing Mandy.

This sweet girl came to us as a stray in early October. She is a cur mix of sorts, weighs 34 pounds, is believed to be 1 year old, and has been spayed.

Now Mandy is a bit shy. She also isn’t sure about poofy black backdrops. Not sure what that’s about, but either they love it and lay down, or they don’t love it, and it seems to show. (Sorry Mandy)

Mandy is a sweet girl though. She sat when asked to do so, kept a close eye on the person who brought her into the room and seemed to know this was an important thing – getting one’s photo taken.

So, please let Mandy know she did a good job and come take her home with you!

Mandy’s ID number is A1247487

The name Lexi (short for Alexandra) has Greek origins and means defender.

Well ok then! Please meet this little defender, Lexi!

Lexi came to us as a stray in early October, so we don’t know a lot about her past. We believe she is 1 year old, she weighs 37 pounds, has been spayed, and is a lovely black and white cur mix of sorts.

Now our Lexi kept defending her comfy spot on the poofy backdrop. (Well, more or less protected it, by not wanting to move.) She decided it was so nice we thought she was going to go to sleep – but the tail kept wagging and kept her awake. Silly doggo!

Lexi could be your defender. She could defend you from boredom. She could defend you from loneliness. She could defend you from ever being sad.

We highly recommend this defender. We recommend you adopt Lexi!

“Hanna, Hanna, bo-bana. Banana-fana fo-fana. Fee-fi-mo-mana – Hanna!”

Please meet Hanna! This sweet girl came to us as in late October. She is 1 year old, weighs 56 pounds, and has been spayed. She is a black and white shepherd. And she wasn’t familiar with the rhyme mentioned previously.

Just as well, she needs her own identity, right? We think so, she needs to have someone give her a chance to write her own story, regardless of whether it rhymes.

Hanna did sit on command, and was focused on the person assisting her. She was polite. However, she told us she preferred to stand. We said ok. Then she gave us her best forward facing pose. Isn’t she just gorgeous?

We think you can help Hanna write a new story about her life. Please visit Animal Control and meet this lady. Discuss her ideas about her future then, take her home!

Please adopt Hanna!
