Millie is a great dog. She loves Greyhounds and Dogos!!!! Niklaus and Taboo are her besties. Would be so great to stay in Tampa Bay Area so she could possibly be taken to the nursing home to visit her mom. It was a very hard thing to let her go. It was done out of necessity for both of them. Please share to get this girl a fabulous home.

Letty is looking for her retirement home.
3 yr old. Good with large male dogs. Housebroken, crate trained, kennel trained. Walks well on lead, loves to ride. Friendly, very loving. Inside only dog. Likes water, short hikes (not into exercise). Likes to go dog friendly stores, get pup cups, dog beach.

Prefer to stay in Florida. Must meet dogs in home.

Voodoo is looking for her retirement home. Still very active. Playful, hikes for miles, loves water. Very clean house dog. She does like to sleep in a bed all day and requires a big comforter to bunch up and get under. Affectionate, boisterous and likes attention.

Prefer her to stay in Florida. Does best with confident dogs.

While I do love my purebred dogs and support the ethical breeding of all purebred dogs, I have loved a few really good mutts in my day. May 9 was the 11th anniversary of losing this boy. My Pongo. Half Jack Russell Terrier and we don’t know what the rest was. His siblings were all brindle. Mom was a JRT. I picked him out around 4-5 weeks old and snuck him home and my mom said take it back. I refused. Finally she said get the fleas off and you got 2 weeks to find him a home. That was November of 1997. I was 14. I had him for 18 yrs. He out lasted my mom by 1 yr and 3 weeks longer than. He was the best ratter I ever knew. He would hunt rats until he had to be stopped. Snakes, raccoons, opossums. He was cute and fluffy but he was 110% terrier. He would scrap with anything. Not scared of anything. He was my dog and my dog only. He never in 18 yrs used a leash unless absolutely necessary. He walked between my feet. He had congestive heart failure and went on medication. Vetmedin was new so it was very expensive then. I added up just his heart meds for his last 6 yrs and it totaled $10k. Sums up why I am poor and have nothing but memories of dogs to show. I would do it again. This dog was priceless. Brain tumor took him not his heart. He was too stubborn for that. He had a tumor behind his ear removed and vet got good margins but it was cancerous. Came back 5 yrs later in his brain. Had a seizure. Made a vet appointment. Next night had multiple seizures. Took him in as a walk in next morning and they found the tumor. So we said goodbye.
