And we have a gator sighting!

That's not uncommon in our area, but if you see an alligator while you're out with your pets, use common sense. Stay away from the water. Give the gator AMPLE space. If it's aggressive or in an area where it's not supposed to be, call Fish & Wildlife. They will usually leave you alone if you leave them alone; there are exceptions, of course, but if we all practice some simple safety techniques, that will help humans and pets alike stay safe.
