Hello my friends!
I am wishing everyone Happy Holidays! The salon will be closed for the remainder of this week for little bit family time and some self care before starting the new year! Well, you can say we've had a Monday..Indigo Blue will be closed today Monday August 3rd unexpectedly due to having no power. We will hopefully reopen tomorrow August 4th for our scheduled appointments. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have and will be working from home so Erica is still available to answer questions or to reschedule appointments.

**LONG POST WARNING
but its all the updates you'll want to know!

People have been messaging and texting all morning asking if the emails they're are receiving are true that we are actually able to open back up?! The answer my friends is YES! We are now a business that is considered ESSENTIAL. With that being said we have been out of commission for 6 weeks now and as much as we want to just jump right in and get everyone in for their spa days we are having to take a step back and figure out what days would be good for each of our friends and for our staff. We are officially back to just Erica being the groomer and Caroline being the amazing receptionist/bather/assistant a boss lady could ask for! So please all we ask is for your patience. If the day we assigned does not work with your calendar no problem, just reply to the reminder email or give us a text on the salon line and we will do our best to find a better day that works for everyone. If you have not received an appointment date yet and are expecting one please let me know asap, I am scared I lost a sheet a paper that had some names written on it so I wouldn't be surprised if I missed a few names but no big deal just call or text and we will get that date set up. Note: As most of you know I'm trying to keep everyone booked out throughout the year to better help me and so if you had multiple appointments and you may have missed your appointment in the end of march or April but have an appointment in may or June you may not have heard from us because you are already in the schedule and you just missed one grooming appointment not to shabby! If you cancelled before us closing but did not make an appointment before getting off then I'm sorry you will have to be put at the end of the list.

We will still be practicing the safe distancing procedures that were in place before we had to close down. Which means clients stay in the car and just call or text when you are in our parking lot, remove all leashes and collars and we will come out with a non slip lead and take them for their potty run and bring them safely into the salon. We will contact you when your pet(s) are close to being ready. We ask that you pick up as soon as possible but as you know my belief don't ever feel like you need to rush to get your dog so they do have to hang out with us no problem just let us know so we can prepare the correct accommodations. We will be either sending out invoices using our system square which can be delivered through your email or text. With text messaging it sends a link that you click and just follow the prompts.

I do want to ask for everyone's patience as we get back into routine. I can honestly say this 6 week hiatus of not grooming dogs like I was will have effected my speed on getting everything done so for the first month of so we probably will be taking it lighter then normal until we build up our momentum back. We thank everyone who is willing to work with us and support us as we get back to what is now considered normal.

Finally, at this time I will not being making any appointments over the phone when you first call, I will be getting your name, dogs name and best contact number and any scheduling conflicts that you may have and will give you a call back (or text if that works better) within 2 business days with our next available appointment. We have a very large list of dogs that missed their spa days because of us having to close and we want to make sure we get everyone in before we take on anyone else. We thank everyone for understanding this.

Please note that we no longer make appointments over Facebook messenger you have to either call or text the salon number. (336)694-3211 We can answer any questions you may have but we may tell you its better to call for better service. We do not check FB messages on a daily basis. We have NEVER accepted cancellations over Facebook messenger just as a reminder.

We will not be able to accept new clients at this time with the situation we are facing as a community. I as an owner don't feel comfortable taking in new people that we are not familiar with especially if you have a groomer and they're just not open yet. Its okay to wait. I do have a "At home kit product" list that I've been working on (I been promising this to some people for a week now and I'm sorry I haven't sent it out yet! I just want to make sure I have everything covered and correct before sending it out but its coming! not to mention I'm working on getting a discount code for you guys to use 😉 every saving counts right!) If you are interested in receiving this product list please leave your email in the comments below and I be happy to get it out to you when I have it completely finished.

Well I think that is all that I needed to cover and if you made it down this far thank you for taking the time to see how we are handling things with the new challenges we are facing. I don't know about you guys but I just have been taking it day by day.
I cant wait to see my friends in the next coming weeks though and getting back to as normal as we can get! If you mention that Harry missed his friend (your dog's name here) we will make sure to add a Hydra Spa upgrade to your pet's spa day as a thank you for being such an amazing client 🖤

We hate to do it but Indigo Blue will be closed until “stay at home” order has been lifted. Please feel free to contact the business line with any at home care instruction or questions. We’re hear to help! I will be contacting everyone one who is scheduled on a weekly basis for the upcoming month and we will have to figure out a reschedule. Hopefully everyone will just be missing one appointment 🙈 I want to thank all our clients for your patience as we figure out how to handle this unexpected situation. I do have some shampoo, gentle eye pads and leave in lotion for sale at the shop if anyone is interested and can do drop off delivery. I also have access to getting the right brushes and combs for your pet at home. Just text or call with questions. ( I have to pick up the business phone from the salon so it may take a day or two to get back to you 😅) Thank you guys again we couldn’t get through this with out you guys! Pictured is my boy Grey! I gave him his “quarantine” cut since we won’t be competing for awhile what’s the point of keeping all that hair!
