Emma: a 4-pound Chihuahua stray with 4 puppies and 2 other adult Chihuahuas rescued by Winnebago County Animal Services in Rockford IL during 20° below weather in January 2014. I was adopted from Noah's Ark Animal Rescue when my new family met me and couldn't wait to bring me home. Mom calls me Hoppy Peepers. :)

I'm tryin' out a new approach to my kibble sorting & organizing. I empty the ball and strew them about, then eat a couple & wait for Franklin to notice. Sometimes we have a tense moment when he sidles over to snag some. Then Mom & Dad gather up the kibble & put them back in the ball. They say he doesn't need the extra food.

Tried something new today at my doctor's office. Didn't hurt at all & I loved the big baseball tray of peanut butter. 👅 This acupuncture & laser treatment relieved spinal pain from the big tumble down our stairs in early February. I'm walking better & was even trotting pretty fast outside! Thank you Dr. Palacio, Taylor & Hillsdale Animal Hospital. ❤️

Mom sez I have Flying Nun ears. Dad sez even tho my tongue hangs out the left side of my mouth, I'm still pretty level-headed. Meanwhile, Franklin sat still like this for a half hour. No idea why.
