Do you have a solid routine down with your animals?

One thing that is going to make your animal feel safe is a routine and staying consistent with it.

Do you think I always want to be up at 5:30 and walking by 7:15?? Hell, NO! 🤣 But I do it anyway! Because Wylie loves his schedule.

So many mornings I would love to break the schedule, sleep in, skip the walk and feed him late. I know though, that it’s not helpful to either one of us. When we skip parts of our routine then it throws the whole day off.

So, if you and your animal are feeling “off” maybe you need a little structure to your day 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wylie wasn’t always this loving. In fact, when I first got him, I never thought this was going to be possible.

He was guarded and was always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I heard him loud and clear many times saying “why am I going to let you in? You’re just going to give up on me like everyone else” 😢

I stayed consistent, gave him his space and reassured him time and time again that I would not leave him.

I think this picture makes it clear how far we’ve come 💕💕💕
