An afternoon off calls for a hike with my pups on this beautiful day ☀️👏🏽🐾 It has been one of the busiest weeks of the year so far! I’m soaking up every moment. We traveled to Stockton, MN & hiked on the state trails there. So far since Sunday I have done the following jobs ⬇️

•13 yard clean up jobs 💩
•21 check ins/walks 🐱
•3 pet taxi runs 🚕

…and still lots more to wrap up the week/weekend -Cheers to such a busy yet fun week! 🥰

Unfortunate circumstances brought us together with the passing of their pup… 😢 I was more than happy to go out of my travel radius to help this client as the last thing this family needs is added stress with picking up the yard. We are in a blizzard warning 😅 I never cancel due to weather typically BUT if roads truly are completely unsafe to travel on, I absolutely have to stay back. I won’t be able to service people if I’m injured or my car is wrecked 🤪 thank you for understanding!

I don’t normally share stuff like this on my page but I just have to share an interaction I had with someone on Prairie Island a little bit ago -

We were on a trail with my 2 dogs & someone was approaching us. We moved off to the side to give them room. He asked if my dogs were friendly so they could meet, I said we were training so no interaction please. He laughed which I found odd but anywho… he then asked where I was from & my name which again was odd and didn’t want to give that info out. I tried to keep walking & he seemed irritated that I wasn’t entertaining his conversation. I walked away at that point and then he yelled “Only crazy people pick up dog p**p in the woods” (which I did pick up their 💩 moments before our interaction which he saw).

Super weird interaction but call me crazy for picking up 🤣👏🏽💩 also it’s moments like these where I am glad I have a body camera - you never know peoples intentions!

Now that we are experiencing some spring like weather in Minnesota – this is your friendly, public service announcement to clean up your yard from any dog doodoo that you may not have picked up in the freezing temperatures.

As this week warms, we tend to want to open the windows and let the fresh air into our homes, but no one wants to open the windows and smell their neighbor’s dog’s p**p piled up in the yard (or cat for that matter.)

To those of you who take your dog on public property to use the bathroom then not pick up after your dog, this announcement is for you too.

Failing to pick up after your pet may result in an administrative fine or state citation.

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 10 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙤𝙡𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙗 𝙂𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 🪿 If there’s a dog that’s going to make you feel like a little kid again and you can be goofy with, it’s 100% Goose. Even at 10 years old he is full of life and energy! And I love those eyes… they just melt into your soul! Something I noticed while caring for him is he really doesn’t care what you’re doing or where you are, he just wants to be around you & he’s so happy while doing 😀🐾 One of my favorite things about him is he lovessss his food (typical lab 🤪) - after every visit with him I would give him one of his higher reward treats that they had stored in a separate room. He figured out this routine VERY quickly & once I would put my jacket on to indicate the visit was over, he would rush at the speed of light to the treat room & wait so patiently for me to give him one 🤣💓 I’m so happy to add you to our pack dude!

Last night on 2-17-25, around 8pm, a report was made of an animal bite to a person around 5th and Huff Streets. The person was walking their dog when an at large dog approached them and tried to fight their dog. The person was able to get the dog away but sustained a bite in the process. Winona animal control is looking to identify the dog at large.

The dog is described as:
• Medium in size, roughly 50 pounds
• Black with brown
• Ears were large, straight up, and pointy
• Could possibly be a German Shepard

If you saw this dog last night or encountered a similar incident, please call animal control at 507-457-6294 and leave a voicemail.
