Peaches’ puppies are old enough now that she can enjoy a nice walk through the woods with us!

She walks so well on a leash that my 3 year old can walk her with no troubles!!

Peaches will be looking for a home once her puppies have all been weaned and she has been spayed. Something to keep in mind if you are looking for a very sweet and friendly adult dog to join your pack!

⚠️ WARNING - these photos will give you puppy fever!

It is so beautiful outside, we had to do a quick little photo shoot. These puppies are about 3.5 weeks old now, and absolutely adorable in every way! They are finding their legs and their voices 🥰

They still have several weeks left with their mama, who has done such a great job of giving them these precious fat rolls!

💕Hugs found herself a foster home, where Hank (one of our Christmas pups) is showing her the ropes of family living!!

Hank brings her toys to play with, which is just the sweetest thing ever. She will also gets lots of kid cuddles and play time!

Hugs is an approximately 9 week old puppy of unknown breeds. We estimate she will be large when full grown. She has a very nice, soft coat with caramel spots and light brown ears.

❣️ Update - Foster Home Found ❣️

Gunner is in need of a new home (adoptive or foster) as soon as possible. Currently located in Sioux Falls.

He is described as a great dog, but cannot be in a home with cats.
He is 1.5 years old, up to date on vaccines, but still needs to be neutered. He is house trained. He rides well in the car. He has a sweet personality. He gets along with children and other dogs.

Kisses wants to leap into your heart and your home!!

She is approximately 9 weeks old. We do not know her breeds, but she is a chunky little thing with thicker fur that is very soft! She is friendly, playful, and sweet. She looks like she has little paw prints going down her back to her tail ♥️

She is up to date on her vet care, so all she needs now is a family! She also has 3 sisters and a brother looking for homes 🥰

🫣 Look at these chunky little things!! 🤩

They will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. They are obviously getting lots of mama milk, and growing like crazy. I don’t know how, but they get cuter every day. I can’t wait to see what they look like in another month!

Any guesses on breed? Their mama looks like Shiba Inu, but we aren’t sure about dad(s)

❣️ LOVE YOUR PET DAY ❣️

Rescue update:
We are turning dogs away pretty regularly at this point, which we really hate to do in this weather. Unfortunately, we just do not have the resources.
Financial resources impact us, as they do every rescue, because taking in a dog that needs spay/neuter along with vaccinations and other vet care can be expensive. But the bigger issue is having the space and time to care for them. We have a precious few foster homes, and we are only able to provide care for so many dogs at a time. We currently have 5 puppies, a mama, and her litter of 7 with us. Each dog requires significant time and attention from humans, and all of that time is 💯 volunteer on our end. Meaning we have to balance it with our other work and family responsibilities.

❣️ We have 4 puppies who are currently ready for a nice warm home and snuggles with their new family ❣️

🐾Kisses, Hugs, Teddy, and Hershey are about 8-9 weeks old. Hershey is a boy, but all the rest are girls! We do not know their breeds, but estimate they will be larger when full grown. They have some beautiful coloring!
Hugs, Kisses, and Teddy have thicker, very soft coats. Hershey has a shorter coat.

🐾They are all your pretty typical pups… they enjoy playing with each other and the children. They are a little apprehensive in new situations or with new people, but they warm up quickly. We think they will make some very lovable pets! 💕

Looking for someone to keep you warm on these cold days?! Hugs is your girl!! 🩵

Hugs is approximately 8 weeks old. Her breeds are unknown, but we estimate she will be large when full grown. Given the coloring of the litter, we’d guess they may have some border collie or Australian Shepherd in them! She has a very soft coat with beautiful coloring. More pictures in the comments!

Hugs is a very typical puppy for her age. She is a little apprehensive of new people and situations, but warms up quickly. She is playful, enjoys spending time with her sisters, and loves playing with kids.

💫 Sharing some good news 💫

Yamni, the 3 legged kitty has made it to the vet and his foster home. We will get him neutered once his wounds are healed.

The orange kitty found a home and is out of the cold.

Our sick puppies are 💯 back to puppy mode. They will be available for adoption in a couple of weeks.

Three of the litter is still healthy, so we are hoping that they won’t end up sick! If we get through the weekend, we will start sharing their pics and looking for homes for them. Reach out if you are interested in adopting!

We also got a nice update about one of the Christmas puppies this morning snuggled up in her new home!! Doesn’t she look so happy?! 🥰

UPDATE: someone has generously donated the funds for this guy’s vet bill, and we have found a foster home ❣️

‼️ Yamni is urgently in need of someone to save him

Yamni means “3”. This poor guy only has three legs (one has been surgically amputated in the past). He has been taken care of by Frank, who keeps him fed and tries to help him as much as possible. He nursed him back to health once already, getting him vet care, vaccinations, and dewormer. Yamni has gotten injured again now, and desperately needs some vet care and TLC. Once he is healthy, he will need to be neutered.

Frank said he can tell he lived inside at one point. He is timid around people (who can blame him) but does warm up. He will let Frank hold him and will sit on his lap and purr. He just needs someone to give him the loving home he deserves!!
