🚐✨ Rescue Ride to New Beginnings ✨🚐
This week, three very special pups left our shelter behind and headed toward brighter tomorrows—and we couldn’t be more grateful or more relieved.
First up is Stella—a beautiful girl whose story started with a little deception. Her owner surrendered her under false pretenses, claiming she was a stray. But our Animal Control Officers did what they do best: they followed the facts and uncovered the truth. Despite her rocky start, Stella spent over a month with us, waiting patiently while her future hung in the balance. We’re thrilled to share that A Path 4 Paws, in Las Vegas, opened their hearts and their doors, rescuing Stella just in time and giving her the fresh start she deserves.
Traveling alongside her to Vegas is Summer, a quiet sweetheart who arrived as a stray earlier this month. Shy but gentle, Summer’s soft soul didn’t go unnoticed. She’s now with our friends at A Path 4 Paws, who we know will help her blossom into the confident dog she’s meant to be.
And from Elko, Endless Pawsabilities came through for Sorrell, a handsome stray who had been with us since last month. He’s now headed off to the next chapter of his journey, thanks to their commitment and compassion.
We owe a huge thank you to our rescue partners—A Path 4 Paws and Endless Pawsabilities—for showing up, again and again, when our dogs need them most. And to our incredible networker and transport coordinator, Karen Rodoni—your dedication moves mountains and saves lives. We can't forget, Dave with Endless Paws, who transported these three safely to their destination.
