Meet Bessy!
Bessy is a gentle, sweet soul — around 6 years old — who’s looking for a quiet, patient home. She can be shy at first and startles easily with fast movements, so she’ll do best with someone who’s willing to go slow and let her come out of her shell on her own terms.
Bessy gets along well with other dogs, but we’re not sure yet how she does with kids or cats.

Over the past few weeks, so many of our dogs got a second chance—thanks to amazing rescue partners, transport heroes, and our network coordinator Karen Rodoni! 🐶💖

✨ Lukey → WARF - Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation - Northern Nevada (Incline Village) – rescued and adopted quickly! 🎉
✨ Espie, Pua & Wrigley → Endless Pawsibilities Foundation (Elko)
✨ Remy, Shadow, Onyx & Topaz → Pet Network Humane Society (Incline Village)

Without these devoted organizations, the tireless transport volunteers, and Karen working behind the scenes, these sweet pups’ stories could have been very different. Thanks to them, our dogs get second chances, bright futures, and hope. 💪🐾❤️

Akira is a beautiful pup with a gentle soul. She’s quiet, sweet, and gets along well with other dogs. She's about 5 years old and rarely makes a sound—no barking in her kennel! We're not sure if she’s spayed or vaccinated.

🐾 Meet C**t – Looking for His Second Chance 🐾
C**t is back at the shelter through no fault of his own, and we’re determined to find him the loving forever home he deserves! 💔
This sweet boy is 9 months old, weighs about 25–30 pounds, is neutered, potty trained, and gets along well with other dogs. He thrives in calm, respectful environments and would do best in a home with older children.
C**t prefers the company of women, but can warm up to kind, patient men as well. Please note: no chickens or goats for this guy — he’s not a fan of the farm life!
It’s got to be scary for C**t being back at the shelter 😢 — let’s find him a safe, loving home ASAP!

Meet Coco! 🐾

Coco is a sweet and shy 9–10 month old Chihuahua mix looking for a loving forever home. She’s been an indoor pup her whole life and is still getting used to the world around her, so she may be a little timid at first — but once she warms up, she’s a total sweetheart!
Coco is:
✔️ Good with other dogs
✔️ Good with kids
❓ Cats are unknown
🚫 Not yet spayed or vaccinated
🧼 Still working on potty training and basic manners
🧗‍♀️ A clever climber — she can get over baby gates!
She’ll thrive in a patient, understanding home where she can build confidence and continue her training.
