We want to do a huge THANK YOU to all our vendors!!! Without all of you this would not be possible! Your wisdom and knowledge of caring for each animal, respect and love shows whenever you are talking and handling pets. We can not say how much we appreciate all of you and hope that you will come back and join us for our next expo!!!

A huge shout out to our greeters Autumn and Judy and of course Judy's amazon bird and our mascot Zilla!! There smiling faces was just what we needed to see. They helped everyone with tickets and wristbands! We appreciate you both so much!!!!
Many may know Judy by her amazing grooming skills. She is the owner of Posh Pets Grooming here in Winnemucca behind fast glass.
Autumn is our amazing social media and event coordinator. You may get Andrea or Kyria at times but for the most part you are talking to Autumn!

Shout out to Kyria Lockheart (keyria lockhearts photography).
Keyz and her bearded spyro came out against all odds. Not having her camera due to unforseen incident. Borrowed another camera from a Papa smurf but the battery crashed. Keyz then grabbed her phone and still went around to help with videos and pictures!!! She wishes she could have done more but we all agree we appreciate what she did!

So we tried to do a live but it failed but no worries. We are gonna try something different tomorrow.
Thank you to all the amazing people whom came out to today's expo!!!
If you missed it do not worry as we will be back again at the winnemucca convention center tomorrow starting at 9!!! There will be lots of amazing vendors with wonderful reptiles and exotic animals as well as educational reptile seminars (10am, 1:30pm by nevada reptile sanctuary)
If you came out today you would have seen a macaw, snakes, lizards, hedgehogs, tarantulas, frogs, axolotls, reptile plants, feeders, lots of goodies from jewelry, toys, key chains and soooo much more.
Those that came out early enough got to see a beautiful monkey!!!!
And of course everyone was greeted by out handsome mascot Zilla.

Northern Nevada Reptile and Exotic Pet Show
We here at Randy's Rattery and pet Boutique are so excited and looking forward to being vendors again. We hope to see all of you again. This year we will have a bunch of new baby rats. We will have Rex's, smooth coats, black and white, grey and whites, albino, all black, and black eyed whites. Some are dumbos some are top eared, but all are super friendly, and all will come with a little welcome home package to help your newest member of the family adjust to his/her new home. We will also have additional items to purchase for them all handmade.
Check out our page Randy's Rattery in a could of weeks to see all of the babies that will be coming to the expo.
Well it is that time when the year is almost over. We here at Desert Family Pets, LLC would like to say THANK YOU. Thank you so much for making this year special and wonderful.
We have been so blessed to have so many amazing people whom have supported our business throughout this year. We adore our amazing vendors that come out and join us during the Northern Nevada Reptile and Exotic Pet Show. We appreciate all of our amazing customers whom we love to see come into our store and have become part of our lives as our customer family.
Here is an example of how much our customers have gone beyond for us and we truly appreciate it. An amazing lady saw one of our boxes of toys in the street that my hubby, Bryan Grote, on accidentally lost and picked it up with all the loose toys and brought them to us. Thank you so much again we really appreciate it.
This beautiful gal I bought today from the expo we named her violet. I just got her and introduced her to her new habitat.

I would like to give a big thank you to Bryan Grote and his volunteers for an awesome show! To all the vendors and Rescues, thank you! You guys were awesome. Everyone that came out and checked out the show, thank you. If it wasn't for the crowd checking out the show, there would be no show. I met a lot of nice people at the show. From people that were afraid of reptiles to those who own dozens of reptiles.
It was the first reptile show for Winnemucca. Winnemucca has a lot to offer as a venue. Plenty of parking, hotels, places to eat and drink. Everyone was friendly and willing to help out. The venue was roomy and was full of vendors. The venue has plenty of space in it for growth. I only see the shows getting bigger and better year after year.
I plan on going back next year and the following years. I also think other potential vendors from Treasure Valley will be there too. It is 4 hours south of Treasure Valley and is a scenic drive.
Thank you again Bryan for a show well done. You made it look easy.
