Well the cause of all this was my teeth. So today I had a fast scheduled cleaning. Told them that I needed 2 teeth... well 3 hours later I had my teeth cleaned and 2 teeth removed....

Thank you all for the prayers over the last few days. Yesterday was the surgery to get the fluid off my lungs. I am doing good today but still in a bit of pain. I just got a PICC line in for meds. Looking like I will not be under a horse till the PICC line is removed. Looking like I should be home end of this week. The PICC line will be in for 4-6 weeks.

Lone Eagle Horseshoeing is currently not able
to take any appointments at this time. Jason has been in the hospital with pneumonia for a week. As soon as he is better he will start taking appointments again. Thank you for your understanding!

For anyone that has to release horses/set them free as a last resort from the fires, please read:

1) When letting horses out of stalls or pastures, CLOSE ALL of the stall doors/gates once they are set free. When horses are panicked, they will usually go back to their stall or pasture, which will likely trap them in the fire.

2) Write your name/phone number on your horses’s hooves in sharpie OR with spray paint/paint on their body. You can also tie something in their mane/tail, but there’s a chance it could get snagged on something or burned.

3) Leave all halters off — they will burn into the sides of their face and can get caught on fencing/objects.

My thoughts are with all that are impacted by these devastating fires. Please be smart and stay safe ❤️
