Dogs of the Day: Turtle & Mochi!

Meet the dynamic Shih Tzu Duo!
Turtle (left) has a constant prance in his step and a tail that never stops wagging. He's so enthusiastic that sometimes his groomer has to dodge that happy tail while doing his nails and paws- Turtle just cant contain the joy!

Mochi (right) balances the team with her signature waddle and undeniable sass. As her mom proudly says, she is the lady of the house - trust us, Mochi knows it. Every little move says "I run this place."

Together, these two bring endless charm, giggles, and plenty of Shih Tzu sass to our salon. Thank you Turtle & Mochi for always reminding us to keep prancing (or waddling) with a little extra joy in every step.

Dog of the Day: Noodles

Meet Noodles, the brave little three-legged Rockstar! This terrier mix came in for his groom today and absolutely rocked his haircut! But when it comes time to work on his legs, Noodles lets us know he needs a little extra TLC—and we’re more than happy to oblige. A few snuggles, some patience, and lots of reassurance helps him feel safe and supported through the tricky parts.

And honestly, who could blame him? If I was missing a leg, I wouldn’t be thrilled about people fussing with the ones I had left either! Noodles shows us that true resilience isn’t about never struggling—it’s about finding the courage to keep going, one paw at a time.

Dog of the Day: Brea

Meet Brea, the brave German Shepherd! When she first came in, she wasn’t so sure about the grooming process—she did what we call “pancaking” (laying flat and trying to disappear from the world). With lots of patience, gentle encouragement, and a few confidence-boosting breaks, Brea slowly began to realize she was safe and supported.

By the end of her session, she wasn’t just standing tall—she was playing and wagging her tail, showing off her happy spirit. Watching her transformation from nervous to joyful was the best reward of all.

Way to go, sweet girl!

Meet Chauncey, the handsome Bernedoodle with a BIG personality and some very special grooming needs. He’s not a fan of having his paws or face touched—unless he says it’s okay.

That’s why we use cooperative care techniques that let Chauncey be part of the process. He gets to choose when he’s ready, and we make sure every step is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

Chauncey reminds us that grooming isn’t “one size fits all”—it’s about trust, patience, and working with each pup. And honestly? We think he’s absolutely amazing for it.
