Reminder: Adjusting Takes Time — Please Be Patient with Your New Dog 💛

When you adopt a dog, especially one coming from a stressful shelter environment, it’s important to remember that they’ve already been through so much. Their world has been flipped upside down — from losing their home to spending months in a small kennel at the pound — and now they’re in a brand-new place with brand-new people. That’s a lot for any dog to process.

Please go slow. Give them time to decompress. Be patient. Introductions to people, pets, and new environments should always be gradual. Provide them with a quiet, safe space (like a cozy kennel or quiet room) where they can retreat when they feel overwhelmed. Let them set the pace. The best thing you can offer during this transition is your understanding, patience, and love.

With time, they will begin to trust. And when they do, the bond you’ll share will be something truly special.

💔 Sadie’s Story — She Deserved So Much More 💔

Sadie was a beautiful soul who never asked for much — just kindness, love, and a safe place to rest her head. But instead, she was used. Neglected. Abused. She was a victim of backyard breeding, and in the end… it cost her everything.

Her body was broken from the years of exploitation. Her spirit was tired, but somehow, she still wagged her tail. She still trusted humans. She showed unconditional love to the very species that failed her. And that is what makes her loss even more devastating.

Sadie mattered — not for how many litters she could produce, but for the incredibly loving, gentle, and forgiving soul she was. Her life had value. Her heart was pure. She was never meant to be someone’s profit.

Please… let her story be a wake-up call. This has to stop.

The greed.
The suffering.
The lives lost before they ever got the chance to truly live.

We are so incredibly thankful to every single person who stepped up to help us help Sadie. So many people didn’t hesitate — you saw her pain and rushed to give her the love she had been denied for so long. There are not enough words to thank Dog Rescue for stepping in and giving Sadie the life she always deserved — even if heartbreakingly, it was only for a short time.

Rest in peace, sweet girl. You were loved. You mattered. And we will never stop fighting for the others like you. 🕊️🐾 PLEASE share her story. Help spread awareness.

💔 LICENSED RESCUE DESPERATELY NEEDED FOR 4 PUPPIES ASAP!

We have been trying for over 2 months to help find Rescue for these 4 puppies. Still no offers.

There are 4 puppies, approximately 6 months old — 3 boys and 1 girl. They live outside in this small kennel. As you can see, when it rains, it becomes a soupy pond.

They have been dewormed.
