Happy chilly Tuesday!
I've got some happy adoption updates!
Russell🐾, Spike🐾 and Lilah🐾 were all adopted!❤ A big thank you to their new families for adopting and giving them the best gift they could receive! The tricolor aussie has gone to rescue so that they can address some behavioral issues.

This scared boy was found running along Kennedy Rd near High Path Rd, possibly coming from Windsor Locks line. No microchip or collar/tags. He is a older dog but friendly, on the thin side (which we are addressing). If you recognize this dog or are the owner, please call the shelter at 860-298-4307.

This cat was found on Somerset Dr and Hampden Pl on Wednesday 1/8/25. Finder says the cat is very friendly and affectionate. This cat is an all black female, no microchip, looks to be spayed, young in age. If you recognize this kitty or are the owner, please call the shelter at 860-298-4307.

This gorgeous kitty is looking for his forever home! He was surrendered after his owner fell too ill to take care of him. He is a big sweetheart who loves to nuzzle you while you hold him. He enjoys watching the birds from a window sill and you'll always be greeted with a meow in the morning❤ He would make the perfect lap cat for anyone looking for a companion!

🐾❤️This handsome boy(54lbs.) has waited to long enough. He is available for adoption. He needs a stable home. West Hartford Animal Control staff cannot say enough about this dog. He has manners, training , and just needs to find his forever home once and for all. We have not tested him with cats, he is a people pleaser and listens well to commands. Out of the kennel he is a big baked potato and just wants to sleep on the bed next to us in the office. He has been introduced and walked with other dogs without any issues at the dog pound. This sweet dog was found wandering in Custer Park on 1/4/25 in the afternoon. He has no collar/tags or microchip, but very friendly. If you recognize this dog or are the owner, please call the shelter at 860-298-4307.

This handsome, happy boy is looking for his forever home! He's a bit shy with new people, but warms up! He's a true husky - loves the cold weather and running around in the snow! He's great on leash and loves to explore. He seems to be good with other dogs, kids and cats unknown at this point.
