Don’t ever let anyone tell you that your puppy is too young to learn certain skills. Gunner is under six months old and showing such amazing progress with his crate training.

This video was taken after just one 15 minute session of working on going into and coming out of his crate in a more calm manner!

I need website testers!

I have finally finished building my business website and would like a few testers to take a look at it before I publish it.

At this time, I am looking for 5 people to take a look at it. As silly as this may seem, I will be picky on who I select because I need a variety of users to look at it.

In order to be selected I need you to be thorough when testing and give honest feedback. Since this will be the ‘face’ of my business I would like it to be as close to perfect as possible!

📣ATTENTION ALL DOG OWNERS📣

The Canine Complex, LLC will be offering a discounted Foundation of Obedience Group Class that will be starting in July!

The primary goal of this program is to introduce your dog to an obedience foundation while also working on some of your typical canine problems such as leash pulling, jumping, impulse control and much much more!

This program is 6 sessions total, each session lasting an hour and meeting once a week. During each session you will learn the 5 basic cues, which are sit, down, stay, come and place. You will also get instructions and information for potty training, crate training, loose leash walking the importance of feeding habits and an introduction to husbandry techniques to make grooming and vet visits easier!

This program is currently priced at $200.00 and is available to the first 10 people to inquire and fill out a registration form!

On Monday, Loki officially graduate from our Basic Obedience Board and Train Program!

Loki originally came to us to help him get ready to be put up for adoption through the rescue that has him. He had problems with pulling excessively on a leash, no basic obedience and a high energy drive with no positive outlet, which created some bad habits.

After 8 days here at The Canine Complex, LLC, Loki has successfully completed all tasks required to be a graduate and is ready to find the forever home of his dreams. While in training Loki learned the 5 basic cues, which are sit, down, stay, come and place, along with loose leash skills, feeding habits, crate training, a focus and a leave-it.

Loki couldn’t be more ready for his future owners to come break him out of the rescue and when they do I can guarantee you that you won’t find a more thankful and loving guy. While Loki does have some energy and will need a household that can keep his mind busy, he also needs a home that will take plenty of time to give him lots of scratches and snuggles on the couch.

Are you interested in learning more about our board and train program? Well then do I have news for you!

To stay competitive in the industry and offer programs and pricing that’s affordable for all of my local small business supporters I am offering an 8 day/7 night basic obedience board and train for just $800 if you sign up before January 31st and mention this post!

Our basic obedience board and train covers the 5 basic cues which are sit, down, stay, come and place along with crate training, leash manners, and specialized skills geared towards your at home problem behaviors. At the end of their training your dog will also get the opportunity to show off all of their skills during a public outing at a pet friendly place or park (pending weather).

This program includes 2 1-hour long private one on one training sessions to help transfer over ownership of these skills and we also offer refreshers at a discounted rate of $10 per session after training is completed.

Throughout their stay with us you will also get updated videos and photos on how their training is progressing!

Day 5 of Loki’s board and train!

If you didn’t see our previous post this guy is in for a 7 day board and train for basic obedience. He is available for adoption through Whiskey Ridge Rescue based out of Greenridge, MO!

Today we worked on distance stay with place and a leave-it on place. Would you believe it if I told you he just learned the leave-it today?! He’s one smart cookie that’s very deserving of a loving home!
