The weather has been heating up this summer and we've had some very hot weather this past weekend! 🔥Here are some helpful tips for pet owners! ☀️
If you're ever worried about possible heatstroke, please call any emergency pet hospital that's closest to you right away!🐾

The heat is here, remember to keep your dogs indoors! If they must be out give them lots of water.

Test the pavement and sidewalks with your own hand for 10 seconds, if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them!

Signs of heat stroke…
Excessive drooling
Heavy panting
Elevated heart rate
Deep red or purple tongues and gums
Nausea with vomiting or diarrhea
Disoriented

If this happens call the vet immediately!
Wrap in cold wet towel, put a fan on them until you can get to the vet.

Be safe out there!
