What an incredible five days of AKC Fast CAT at Duke’s AKC Fast CAT’s at the Steel Valley Cluster at Canfield Fairgrounds! 🐾⚡
More than 1,000 entries, over 250 dogs and five unforgettable days! Pulling off an event this size truly takes an entire village, and we are so blessed to have the absolute BEST village here at Duke's K9 Dash N' Splash.
From three grueling days of setup to make sure every detail was just right, to our incredibly talented lure operators who kept the dogs running safely and smoothly all week long, every member of our crew played an important role.
Thank you to our amazing huntmasters who love helping first-time dogs and seasoned teams alike. Thank you to our detail-oriented score entry team and gatekeepers who kept our exclusive Live Run Order updated and the dogs moving on time through every one-hour block.
Thank you to our dedicated ribbon personnel who created beautiful, giant, customized and personalized title rosettes all week long. Thank you to our friendly and helpful admin staff who kept the lines moving so efficiently that no one ever had to wait more than a few minutes for assistance and were almost always greeted with a smile.
Thank you to our wonderful golf cart chauffeurs who transported hundreds of catchers to the finish line every day! You saved a lot of tired legs!
We are also extremely grateful to Fort Steuben Kennel Association and Beaver County Kennel Club for inviting us to host again this year, along with the club volunteers who stepped in wherever they were needed. Thank you to the Steel Valley Cluster organizers and the Canfield Fairgrounds crew for all of their help and support.
Most importantly, thank you to every dog and handler who joined us. A special thank you to those who took the time to stop, compliment our crew and let us know what a great experience you had. Those kind words meant more to us than you know.
The dogs had an absolute blast, which made every one of those exhausting 15-hour days completely worth it.
