Milky Way over Franconia Ridge. This is a shot I've been wanting to do for a few years now, so on Thursday when the conditions lined up just right I gave it a go! This is a blend of two exposures - one 25 second shot for the sky, and one 150 second shot for the ground and distant Mount Lincoln, since it was too dark to show up as more than a black shadow with the proper sky exposure. The steady stream of vehicles moving along I-93 created a challenging lava flow in the valley :)
