Have you ever seen this before?!

When we evaluate lumps on our patients, we often perform a fine needle aspiration (FNA), which is a quick and minimally invasive test.

We insert a small needle into the lump to collect a sample of cells, fluid, or blood. Then, we place that material onto a glass slide and use a second slide to gently spread it into a thin layer so the cells can be seen clearly.

Next, we allow the slide to air dry and stain it to highlight the cells. Once it’s prepared, we examine it under a microscope to help determine what the lump is, such as inflammation, infection, or a tumor.

Reptile owners, you’re not alone.

This weekend at the Manchester Reptile Expo, Renee and Lila from All Pets Veterinary Hospital represented all three of our hospitals with one mission: helping reptile owners know where to turn.

One of the biggest challenges exotic pet owners face is simple… finding veterinary care that truly understands their species.

Reptiles are not small dogs or cats. Their medicine, husbandry, nutrition, and disease processes are different, and where you go matters.

We love caring for reptiles because they deserve thoughtful, informed medicine too.
From snakes and lizards to turtles and beyond, our team is passionate about making sure exotic pet owners have trusted options close to home.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Who actually sees reptiles?” now you know.
Exotic pets deserve expert care too. Send this to someone you know with a reptile so now they know too!

He didn’t even notice

Yes, he’s a little wild.
But give him a lick mat,
and everything changes.
Focused. Still. Calm enough for a blood draw.
This is Fear Free in real time.
Not force. Not restraint.
Distraction done right.

Follow for low-stress vet techniques that work.

Who needed this more?

Puppy falls asleep like a baby…
and she melts right with him.
This is the part of vet med people don’t see,
the quiet moments that reset everything.
Not sure who got more out of this.

Follow for real moments inside vet med.

Welcome to our “tick motel” 🕷️🏨

Every tick you see here was removed from one of our patients, showing just how active tick season is right now. Different sizes, different species… all capable of spreading disease.

Make sure your pets are protected with proper flea & tick prevention, including coverage for Lyme disease. Prevention is key this time of year!
