Scared my human yesterday. I was hacking so hard (for a really long time), and she was afraid my esophagus was strangulated.

Does anyone out there in Kitty Lovers Land know what an esophagus is? I'm not even going try to guess what strangulated means.

Anyway, when some "stuff" finally came up, she just looked at me and said, "SERIOUSLY?? You're almost nineteen years old, and you've never eaten the Christmas tree before. You wait until now, when you're already in fragile health to do this??"

I really don't know what she was going on about--the few pieces I ate didn't even taste good.

I had to spend almost the entire day yesterday at the V-E-T. The first thing they did was give me some medicine that made me loopy. That was okay though, because a little while later they started using a buzzy thing all over my fur. Now my fur looks lopsided--empty places here and there. (I'm so embarrassed.) But at least all the mats are gone.

The the V-E-T poked a needle in my leg and took blood. Dr. Shari said I was very good. I like her a lot, even if she is a V-E-T.
