Tomorrow is the day!!!!!!! We are still in need of a few more donations to cover Mochi's veterinary care!!

Mochi came to us on Sunday when she was out of options in her current situation, instead of going to a shelter, where there is no guarantee she will make it out, we took her in.
****We need donations to cover her spay, vaccines, microchip and de-worm***
She is a sweet girl and once we get her basic veterinary care taken care of, she will be ready for adoption!

Jack was adopted from a Southern California rescue by my dear friend, Melanie, who wanted to save his life and ensure he wasn’t euthanized due to what initially seemed like a minor condition. It wasn’t known at the time that Jack would need a delicate eye surgery called a symblepharectomy—a type of microsurgery to remove adhesions between the eyelid and the surface of the eye.
Jack’s condition causes the conjunctiva of the eyelid to stick to the conjunctiva of the eyeball or cornea, restricting eyelid movement, irritating the eye, affecting tear flow, and impairing vision due to scar tissue buildup. What was first thought to be a simple eye infection turned out to be a severe infection in both eyes (one has since healed). This was only discovered after Jack was seen by a specialist.
Now, little Jack needs this intricate surgery to remove the scar tissue, free his eye, relieve pressure, and restore vision and comfort. His eye will not be removed, as it still has vision and function—but he suffered from delayed treatment during kitten season, when rescues are often overwhelmed.
Melanie adopted Jack after losing her beloved black cat, Anna, in August. She wanted to give this kitten a chance at a full, happy life. We had no idea how extensive Jack’s care would need to be, but he deserves this chance to live without pain.
I’m helping Melanie raise funds for Jack’s surgery, and we need your support.
