At Gentle Passings, every family and every beloved companion deserves unhurried, compassionate care during life’s final goodbye.
As a solo veterinarian providing in-home hospice and euthanasia services, we do our very best to accommodate same-day appointments whenever possible. However, we are not an emergency service, and same-day availability cannot always be guaranteed.
Our business hours are 8:00 AM–7:00 PM. Calls and messages received during these hours are assessed and returned as soon as possible. Calls received outside of business hours will be returned the next business day. Thank you for your understanding as we are unable to provide overnight or after-hours coverage.
Whenever possible, we encourage families to reach out before their pet is in crisis. Having a conversation early allows us to answer your questions, discuss your pet’s quality of life, and, if the time comes, plan for a peaceful goodbye without the added stress of an emergency.
Every visit is intentionally given the time, compassion, and quiet presence it deserves. We never want a family to feel rushed during such a meaningful moment, and protecting that time is an important part of the care we provide.
