I’m excited to announce a chance for a $100 grooming credit for current clients at The Peachy Dog—and it’s all for an incredible cause! 🎗️💛

This July, I’ll be rucking 100 miles in 4 days (25 miles per day) to support Why Me & Sherry's House, a nonprofit in Worcester, MA, that provides vital support to families of children with cancer. This organization holds a special place in my heart, as someone close to me was helped by them during her cancer journey.

To enter the raffle and support this cause:

Hey everyone!

I’ve been MIA the past two weeks because my husband was in Sweden on a work trip and I had 2 kids that were constantly sick, along with all of the snow and doing my husbands jobs around the house and mine. So personally it’s been a lot and I couldn’t get to any messages or rescheduling. I didn’t mean to ignore anyone! I just didn’t have the time or mind space to return a lot of messages and try to puzzle my schedule to get dogs in, as that takes quite a bit of time. My husband came home yesterday so I now have the time and will be going through all messages now. Please respond as soon as you can so I can go down the list of pups that need to get scheduled in soon. I will also say I know your pups health comes first, so if you did get them groomed elsewhere in the time being I absolutely understand, and we can get back on track if you’d like for their next appointment.

Thank you so much for understanding my crazy life while trying to run a busy business! I really appreciate everyone. 💕

Hey everyone!

I’m about to take on a 100-mile ruck march in July to support Why Me & Sherry’s House, a nonprofit in Worcester, MA, that’s incredibly close to my heart. This amazing organization steps in when families of children with cancer are facing their toughest moments, taking care of practical and financial burdens so parents can focus on what really matters—their child.

This cause became close to home when a family I know through my son’s daycare received help from Why Me & Sherry’s House during their child’s cancer battle. Seeing the impact this organization had on them inspired me to get involved and I just had to sign up. Their daughter is now cancer-free! She even completed the entire 100-mile ruck last year, making her the first participant to have previously received support from Why Me & Sherry’s House.

My goal is to raise $1,500. Every dollar goes directly to helping families in so many different ways.

If you’re able to donate, please do! It helps these family’s recognize they’re not alone through everything.

I get a lot of requests for apprenticeships at the salon. Which I cannot do because of town restrictions and insurance reasons. This is an amazing business and a great opportunity for anyone that does have experience with nail trimming. Kara is probably the best boss you’ll ever have. If anyone is interested send her an email! :)

We’re hiring for nights and weekends!

With lots of people going back to work in the office we are getting an influx of requests for after 5 PM and weekend appointments so we are looking to add some manpower so we can cover more appointments during that time

Requirements
you must have primary access to a reliable vehicle 90% of this job is driving from client to client this is not a position good for someone sharing a car with another person.

You must have previous experience with nail trimming for dogs cats rabbits and guinea pigs in a professional setting. I’m not in a position to be able to train a new person right now unfortunately and with the volume of work that we do we have to have somebody who feels confident in their ability. Ability to trim birds nails would be a bonus as we currently do not have anyone on the team who is comfortable with birds included (they scare the hell out of me lol)

You must be comfortable working with difficult animals. This is a service that most dogs do not love and a lot of the animals we see dogs especially have trauma attached to nail trims and we work very hard to make this a happy and comfortable experience for the dogs and the owners.

We use a lot of peanut butter on this job and while there are other treats that work close to as well as the peanut butter works nothing else works quite as well as peanut butter so this wouldnt be a great fit for someone with a severe peanut allergy.

I am looking for someone who is available weeknights and or weekends this position could be filled by one person who can do a combination of weekends and weeknights or two people who split exclusively or combination of both

Ideally it would be nice to find someone in the Danvers/peabody area and someone in the Worcester area to help cover nights and weekends in both general areas we cover.
