Meet Annie & Walter!

Annie and Walter are both approximately 1-year-old Shih Tzu mixes who came to PAC together as strays. They were a little unsure when they first arrived, but they’ve really come out of their shells and are now playful, sweet, and full of personality!

They’ll be available for adoption after their spay/neuter appointments on Friday (8/14). You’re welcome to stop by during business hours to meet them and fill out an adoption application. ❤️

ADOPTED!!

Someone out there is missing out on a really special dog. ❤️

Duke is around 4 years old and would love nothing more than a person to share his adventures with. He loves being outdoors and could be the perfect hunting companion, hiking buddy, or just your best friend. He’s a total lover boy!

Duke will need a fenced-in yard or another secure way to keep him safe. His adoption fee has been sponsored!

Please help us congratulate our August Volunteers of the Month, Jennifer Ledford and her amazing family! ❤️🐾

Jennifer first started volunteering after seeing one of our Facebook posts asking for help. With a daughter who loves caring for animals, she jumped at the opportunity to give her more ways to make a difference. Volunteering has truly become a family affair with her children and even her mom and sister joining in to help our shelter pets!

Jennifer and her family have been volunteering with PAC for just over a year and we are so grateful for them.

At home, they’re also busy caring for 3 dogs: Puddin, Nugget, and Hurley and 3 cats: Sabrina, Savannah, and Yo-Yo.

Thank you, Jennifer and family, for everything you do for the animals at PAC. We appreciate you more than words can say! 💙🐶🐱

We’re not giving up on finding Dempsey his perfect home.

Unfortunately, Dempsey has been returned twice this past week. But we truly believe his forever family is still out there.

When you first meet him, Dempsey can be very excited and jumpy and honestly who wouldn’t be after living in a shelter since February? Once he’s given a little time to decompress and adjust, his true personality shines through.

He’s sweet, affectionate, goofy, and loves being with his people. All he needs is someone willing to give him a little patience and grace during the transition.
