RRRREVISED CLASS COUNTS for Saturday. It looks like Ranch will run a bit long, so lunch may be late. Be sure to get up to the feed room when you have a minute to eat, in case they have to close early.

We are off to a wonderful first day at the AHACO 69th Annual Arabian Concurrent Lite Horse Show at the Oregon Horse Center in Eugene Oregon with judges Jeff & Roxanne Schall and apprentice JT Keller.

Rumor has it the Easter bunny was seen running around OHC this morning. Keep your eyes peeled for eggs popping up on the grounds over the next few days!!!!
Kids and adults are all welcome to collect any eggs they find.

The forecast for this weekend is beautiful. There is still time to join us, plenty of stalls are available. It's going to be an EGG-CELLENT Show!!

The AHACO Board of Directors has some great activities planned for this
Easter Weekend. The wearing of bunny ears is highly encouraged! There will
be an easter egg hunt going on all weekend, presumably for the
kids, or just the young at heart. Friday Afternoon there will be a Ride-A-Buck Competition in the Silverado Arena between sessions. Saturday Afternoon there will be an Egg and Spoon Competition for folks Afoot or on Horseback, PLUS $150 prize for the best Costume. OH YEAH - Our Nifty $50 Championships are back this year!

Also, Saturday Afternoon, our friends from AHBAO will be co-hosting a PIZZA & dessert exhibitor party in the Feed Room sometime around 4pm to promote their fall "Back To School Show" and AHACO will be handing out prizes from their 2024 High Point Awards program.

Make sure you join us at 6:00 PM right before the start of the evening session when we will be making the presentation of the 2024 AHACO Super Horses.

It's gonna be a fabulous weekend.

We are so excited to present the 2024 AHACO High Point Winners. We had an outstanding group of horses, and the people that love them, participating in the program this year. The quality, versatility, and achievements of this group is something we are exceedingly proud of. An exciting addition this year is a new category recognizing equitation. Please come celebrate and collect your loot Saturday the 19th at Oregon Horse between the afternoon and evening sessions. Exact time and location TBA.
Also, make sure you join us at 6:00 PM right before the start of the evening session when we will be making the presentation of the 2024 AHACO Super Horses. This is a program that was designed and generously sponsored by Amy Pike to recognize those special horses that truly do it all. To quality a horse must show in multiple disciplines to include an in-hand and equitation. These are the horses that made us all fall in love with the Arabian horse, and they absolutely deserve the spotlight.

Good Morning,
After much deliberation and discussion, the AHACO Executive Committee has voted to cancel the Sport Horse In-Hand, Under Saddle and Western Dressage classes at our upcoming show. We could not make it feasible financially to proceed with these classes under the specialty judge.

IIt was our hope to be able to service all of our exhibitors interests. f you were entered in these classes, you should have received an email yesterday.
If you also entered “main ring” classes, you are still entered in those classes. If you wish to add additional classes, please let the show secretary know.

We are all very disappointed with this change to our schedule. Thanks so much for trying to support this show.
