Wildfire smoke and animals

Our hearts go out to all of you that have been evacuated from the fires. We are doing what we can to be available for our patients. With all the smoke in the air it is not only hard on us but our pets as well. Some may be afraid as they can smell fire even if they are far from danger. Below is a link on things to watch for in regards to smoke inhalation and your pets. We do ask that if it is possible bring your pets inside with you.
Take care and please be safe!

As of this morning we have been informed by our Governor that we are unable to do routine surgeries. We have also been told to implement social distancing. What this means is we will be seeing patients for appointments only and no spay or neuter surgeries. We are asking all clients to let us know when you arrive for your appointments via phone, we will have you come in for your appointment when able. We know this is frustrating for everyone but please be patient as we work through this. Our goal is to stay open to see our patients as they need us. Thank you again for your patience.

My dog developed a severe problem when we were traveling from out of town. To my relief, the VMH Vet Hospital was open late on Friday evening. They saw my dog immediately, did an exam and a few tests, and gave us medication. By the next day, she was doing better and by Monday (when I could get her to my hometown vet), she was back to normal. I was so happy the problem was resolved without a lot of stress. Speedy care, Excellent treatment, Reasonable cost.
I had a very good experience when I brought my puppy Harlowe in to be nuetered. There were convenient appointment hours available and my questions were answered when I contacted the office by e mail. I was happy to take advantage of the low cost spay and nueter program.I felt that I received awesome customer service even though I was taking part in a low cost program. There was a very clear document that showed my options there were no surprises in what the costs would be. I was given very thorough after care instructions and was encouraged to call with any questions. I was even told that if there were any problems that I could bring my puppy back for a complimentary appointment. Thank you so much for your awesome service and taking such good care of Harlowe!
I found this little lady in front of my apartment in wilsonville tonight. Please share this post and message me if you know or own this dog!
