Please volunteer if possible

Rescue is messy work therefore we would like to have a cleanup day at the sanctuary. Work will be at the Special Needs Unit, the outside enclosures, and the sanctuary grounds. We would love for you to come help us! The cleanup will be on September 6, 2025 from 8 am to 11 am. You can choose your work assignment. We will provide snacks and beverages. You canalso meet our new caregiver, Jefrey Wishard. He is a retired Navy Veteran and all around great guy.

Duties will include:
Inside the SNU: wiping down walls and windows, straightening up cabinets, changing bedding, and general cleaning.
In the 5 outside enclosures: sweeping and pressure washing and replacing bedding chips, washing food bowls.

On the grounds: Gathering up items to be discarded, using a w**d whacker and general cleaning. Raking and putting down new chips and straw.

The SNU is an air conditioned indoor unit, the enclosures are covered out door areas. The sanctuary is a large rural wooded area of over 20 acres. Please dress accordingly.
