I am completely overwhelmed with gratitude after this Saturday’s mini fundraiser. I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who came out, supported us, and helped make this day so special—whether you were there in person, shared the post, commented, or simply sent good vibes from afar. It truly means the world to us. ❤️
I want to give a huge shoutout to some amazing businesses who supported us. First, a heartfelt thank you to Monna Zee with Green Paw Collective who generously donated $50 to sponsor our raffle! Because of her generosity, we were able to raffle off two handmade dog necklaces and raise even more for Koba’s surgery fund. We are so grateful for your support, Monna! 💚🐾
I also want to thank Will Shultz with Venture Farther Photography for his support and the incredibly generous promo offer he has given us! If you book with him in 2026 using code “KOBA,” you’ll receive 25% off your package, and he’ll donate a portion of those proceeds to Koba’s surgery fund. We are so grateful for you, Will! 📸❤️
And of course, a massive thank you to Maya with Cape Fearless Dog Training. Maya has been such a steady supporter of Island Dogs, and we are so grateful for your continued support, encouragement, and friendship. ❤️🐾
I can’t make this post without giving a very special thank you to two people who were behind the scenes helping make all of this happen. ❤️
JT — thank you for always supporting my crazy ideas, business ventures, and whatever random project I decide to take on next. 😂 You have a way of taking the ideas in my head and helping me actually bring them to life, and this event was no exception. Thank you for being such an incredible dog dad to Koba, for always showing up for us, and for being so supportive of all my crazy ideas. I appreciate you more than you know. ❤️
Erin — since joining the Island Dogs team earlier this year, you have been absolutely phenomenal. You’ve done an amazing job caring for our clients and their pets, but you’ve also been so willing to jump in wherever you’re needed—including a late-night necklace-making session. 😂 I am so incredibly grateful for you and so lucky to have you on the team. ❤️
I couldn’t have pulled this off without you guys!
For those who weren’t able to make it out on Saturday—the fundraiser doesn’t stop here! 🐾❤️
We’re going to continue making and selling the necklaces, with proceeds continuing to go toward Koba’s surgery fund. This Friday, August 14th from 5–8 PM, Erin will be representing Island Dogs Canine Service at The Golf Barn in Winnabow for their Doggie Date Night, with a booth full of handmade necklaces!
So if you missed us on Saturday, come see Erin, check out all the different patterns and sizes, and maybe find something for your pup! 🐶✨ 100% of the proceeds from the necklaces will continue to go toward Koba’s surgery and recovery.
We are so incredibly grateful that this little fundraiser has grown beyond what we ever expected, and we’re excited to keep it going. ❤️
To everyone who showed up, shared, commented, or simply kept us in your thoughts—thank you. We still have a journey ahead, and your support is everything. I can’t thank you all enough. ❤️🐾
