The ApHC is excited to announce that participants in the Saddle Log program will receive a buckle this year when they hit 500 hours! Getting to 500 hours will also give you a chance to win a saddle at Year-End from the ApHC. 🤩🙌

Our Saddle Log program allows you to earn awards for spending time with your Appaloosa! Created for adults and youths, this program recognizes the personal achievements and benefits of riding on a routine basis. Whether you participate in trail rides, train and compete in shows, ride in parades, perform ranch work, or enjoy pleasure riding/driving, each hour will count toward your lifetime achievement record!

What are you waiting for? Enroll today! https://www.appaloosa.com/saddle-log

Be on the lookout for imposter Duravet Iver-mectin through online retailers👀 The notice we received did not indicate what online distributors may have received fraudulent product. From the sounds of it, there have not been adverse events, but it may not be effective. If you receive potentially fraudulent product, please contact Duravet to help them track down the source.

ICYMI, we're welcoming donkeys to Equine Affaire this spring in Ohio by way of the Donkey Extravaganza, held in partnership with the Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue! 😍 And since you'll be seeing a lot of adorable donkeys around on April 10-13, we thought it was worth sharing some .

Here's your first Donkey Fact!

👂🏽 A donkey's long ears are more than just a fashion statement. They also help keep the animal cool because heat is released through their ears. This is because of the ears' large surface area and the close proximity of blood vessels to the skin.
