We've been working on something very special for this year's Clear the Shelters month, and now we can finally announce it to the world! This month, we're thrilled to announce our Adopt Love campaign to support shelter animals during a time of urgent need. In partnership with Animal Care Centers of NYC (ACC), Muddy Paws Rescue NYC, and writer and animal advocate Isabel Klee (of SimonSits), we're spreading the word about fostering and adoption to help shelters in crisis.

Mark your calendar for Friday, May 31st 7:00 p.m. for The 2019 Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow®, a Night of Hope for Homeless and Abused Dogs and Cats in our Community! Celebrate Summer by wearing your best Luau attire or island-wear in the tropical setting of Shell Island Resort, Wrightsville Beach, NC, for a night of fun—all to save the lives of homeless pets.
The Embers will be playing fun and festive beach music to dance to or just enjoy listening to their feel-good music! The Embers are truly one of the finest entertainment experiences of our lifetime and their show will put joy in your step and beach music in your soul! Feel like you’re in the Islands by enjoying authentic Hawaiian hula performance by Leilani’s Halau Hulu!
Heavy island-style hors d’oeuvres will be served and we will feature many incredible live and silent auction items to bid on. Proceeds will benefit the animals in desperate need through local animal rescue organizations. Tickets are only $45 in advance and $50 at the door. Tickets will be available at Woof Gang Bakery, Lumina Commons and Porter’s Neck Veterinary Hospital or online at www.TheBowWowLuau.com
Since our founding, The Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow® has raised and donated $65,000.00 to save the lives of formerly-homeless and abused dogs and cats in our community.
