Our mission is to rescue, educate, and promote responsible ownership. Our vision is a society with compassion and kindness towards all loving companions without negative stereotypes and senseless laws of breed discrimination.

Bibi, our breathtaking gentle giant with a heart of pure gold ♥️ At just 2 years old and weighing about 110lbs, this big Central Asian Shepherd embodies everything her ancient guardian breed is known for - brave, loyal, deeply devoted, and watchful.

Bibi is more than just stunning - she’s soulful. She adores children (she’s the ultimate nanny dog!) has done beautifully with other dogs and was introduced peacefully alongside pigs, chickens, and horses. With her calm, steady presence, she brings both comfort and security wherever she goes. But she’s also a silly girl! She has a fun side and loves to do her zoomies when she’s happy.

Bibi will be your shadow, your confidant, and your home’s protector. There’s a soulfulness about her, you feel like you are talking to a dog who totally understands what you are saying. Fences don’t mean much to Bibi - what truly matters is being near her people and watching over them. She thrives with love, consistency, and someone who understands her guardian instincts.

She’s not the biggest fan of sneaky cats, but with patience and training we believe she can learn to accept them as part of her circle if needed.

Because of her size and breed, Bibi must have a home with guardian breed experience - someone who recognizes how special she is and can give her the love, leadership and purpose she was born for.

Scheduled to be euthanized on Monday at 10am, Ghost Buster is now instead on his way to safety ♥️

It took a village to get him here: an amazing foster who opened their heart, a loving short-term foster who stepped up and compassionate transport volunteers who offered to give this pup the ride of his life, literally.

Welcome to your new world, sweet boy - your best days are just beginning.

Bull is healing so well ✨ He’s doing great. Thank you again to the always incredible Dr. Johnny at Middletown Veterinary Hospital and everyone who generously donated towards his surgery and medical care. We are especially thankful to his exceptional foster momma and all the love she shows our big hunk.

Our sweet new senior girl saw the fabulous Dr. Meg this morning and we have a plan in place to help her heal. She’s on the medications and supplements she needs and we’ll give her a good month to get strong and healthy enough for surgery to remove her tumors.

Her skin tells the story of years of neglect, chronic skin issues and large callouses from living outside on concrete. Those days are behind her and from here on out it’s all about comfort, love and healing. Her foster now affectionately refers to her as Hunny Bear 🍯 She will be getting soothing medicated baths every few days for her skin and her foster family is working hard to make sure she knows nothing but extra special care and kindness.

Please join us in cheering on Hunny Bear as she begins this journey toward a healthier, happier life. She deserves every ounce of love the world has to give for the rest of time she has left ♥️

This afternoon an old discarded soul whose time was up is getting the chance to start her life over again.

This sweet senior is sitting in a shelter in crisis - covered in painful skin issues, missing most of her fur and with multiple large mammary tumors that will require surgery. She’s big, old and expensive to save. The kind of dog who didn’t have much of a chance to make it out alive.

Thank you to the loving foster who didn’t hesitate to step up and open their heart and home when it was needed the most. This amazing woman jumped right in her car and this very moment is on her way to save this old soul ♥️

Lady Gremlin has been healing so well, she was finally ready to be spayed this past Wednesday and since then it’s been a struggle 😔 Her tummy stretched the glue wide open and she made an urgent visit to Middletown Vet today to have staples put in to secure her incision. Dogs with her genetics we should have known this probably wouldn’t be a routine spay something would surely go wrong. She’s settled back in at her loving foster home and is ready to sleep the day away. Thankful she’s okay and thank you to her foster momma for allllll the care she gives Lady Gremlin, this little treasure is in the best hands we could ever ask for ♥️

Tulip was found in the unthinkable. Someone had stuffed her into a garbage bag and threw her away on the streets of Philadelphia alongside old, rotten chicken meat.

When Officer Greg opened that bag, he didn’t find a discarded object - he found a living, breathing soul who so cruelly had been subjected to the worst of humanity. But from that moment on, Tulip’s story started over.

Because of all the love and dedication from her foster mom, day by day, Tulip learned joy. Piece by piece, she blossomed into the radiant soul we know now. Never once did Tulip waiver in her incredible love and instant trust for all humans.

Today, our girl’s story is now whole. Tulip has been adopted by a loving mom who sees her not for the suffering she has endured, but for the beauty, grace and light that she is.

To Officer Greg, Tulip’s first hero. To Lisa, who gave her the gift of a safe space, patience, love and healing. And to Tulip, for showing us what true resilience looks like - thank you. It has been our greatest honor to walk beside you for a little while on your journey from despair to your happiest of days.

Tulip, you are living proof that even from the darkest places, something beautiful can bloom.

Some souls are only meant to be with us for a short while, yet they still leave a ripple of love in the world that lasts forever. Our sweet Skylar, also known as Scotchie, was one of those souls.

She came to us from Baltimore as a hospice case, her time was already borrowed. We couldn’t change the length of her story - but because of her extraordinary foster mom Nancy, she changed the way it ended.

In Nancy’s care, Skylar knew safety, gentle voices and the kind of love that wraps around you like a blanket. She tasted joy, she felt freedom, and she belonged.

We wish her days had been many more, but we are grateful she left knowing she mattered. Thank you to the ever incredible Dr. Rob Teti for guiding us to Nancy and thank you always to Nancy for saying “yes”. It takes a rare, special human to volunteer for what they know will soon be heartache. Nancy you are an angel on earth for taking Skylar under your wing and doing everything in your power to make her better and know love before she left this world.

Bull had his surgery today and all went well! Thank you to Middletown Veterinary Hospital for taking such great care of him and thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this possible. We are so lucky to have such generous people in his corner. He’s now headed back to his incredible foster where he will surely receive all the tender love and care he needs to recover ♥️
