Check out our handsome hunk Bull, who’s as low-maintenance as they come! At around 4 years old and about 80lbs, Bull is the perfect mix of easy and fun. He doesn’t ask for much - give him a bone and a comfy spot to relax, and he’s happy as can be.

Bull has completed professional training with WiggleButts Delaware Dog Training and he can’t wait to show you his skills. It’s not every day a fully trained pup comes along, so this is your chance to bring home a total gentleman!

Bull is open to meeting other dogs but no kitties please. He’s also potty trained, crate trained and is great in the car. He loves water! He would do well with older kids and has never met a person he didn’t like ♥️

Ghost Buster Update 👻 This pup is amazingly sweet, both dog and cat friendly and super chill! His only hiccup is he does have some crate anxiety. His incredible foster mom has been working through it and thankfully he’s shown improvement. Ghost Buster finally finished his decompression time, got to run and play with the other pups, which he loved so much, and then he also got himself a limp 😭 x-rays didn’t show anything so he’s been on strict rest and pain meds. He was neutered on Friday and to add to our list he’s having one heck of a time recovering with swelling. Ghost Buster is going through it! Please send some healing thoughts his way and we will keep everyone posted on his leg after the recheck appointment. Thank you to his most patient, loving foster momma for all her trips to the vet and for nursing this cute freckled kid back to health 💙

Momma Lola 🎃 Look at her now. It’s been a few weeks since her heartworm treatment and she has been doing great. Thank you to her awesome foster home for all the love they give this sweet, deserving girl. She went from emaciated, full of milk and thrown away in the back of a parking lot to now living the dream, a lil chunky, with an amazing momma who loves her dearly for the treasure she is. Thank you to her first foster family for all their dedication nursing her back to health to get her where she is today and to those who donated for her care. It takes a village, but love can rewrite any story ♥️

Poe had himself quite a day today! Our first stop was to Middletown Veterinary Hospital to have his eyes and skin rechecked. When he first came to us his mange was so severe it spread even into his eyelids. His eyes were raw, painful and nearly swollen shut, he could barely see the world around him. Thanks to a couple weeks of incredible care by his foster family - his skin has begun to heal and his personality is starting to shine through. Poe loved all the sweet talk and lovins he got at the vet! But it was confirmed what we feared: Poe suffers from entropion in both eyes, a painful condition where the eyelids roll inward. The only way to give him relief is surgery.

After his appointment, Poe had his first visit at White Feather Farm. For a dog who came from the city and unspeakable cruelty, stepping into the woods was stepping into a new world for him. Nature has a way of reaching where humans and medicine cannot. On our hike we were so excited to see he liked the water. He splashed in the stream and for a moment it was like some of his trauma started to wash away. We are so thankful for the beautiful experience Poe had today and how good this was for his soul and his healing.

Thank you to Poe’s amazing foster family for all their dedication and the loving care they give him. His foster mommy does such a good job with all his eye medicine and medicated baths. She even makes him homemade protein patties. To see what a difference a couple weeks of love has made is nothing short of amazing.

This is why rescue matters. Poe’s life has been completely turned around and his future is so bright. He’s got a whole team of loving people cheering him on and making sure he gets everything he needs - physically and emotionally.

Please consider a donation to help cover Poe’s eye surgery. Every gift, no matter the size, brings him closer to the pain free life he deserves ♥️

✨Three dogs, three journeys, one day in rescue.

Today was a busy day with our extraordinary veterinary partners for three of our rescue dogs - Hunny Bear, Charlie, and Biggie. Each of them carries a story of neglect and we are doing our best to fix them.

🍯 Hunny Bear
This sweet girl has been through so much, but she’s blossoming - gaining weight, growing back her fur and showing us just how resilient she truly is. Sadly, her mammary tumors are growing quickly. Now that she’s strong enough for surgery, the next step is chest x-rays to ensure the cancer hasn’t spread before we consider putting her through a major operation. Best case would be her lungs are clear, she’s cleared for surgery and she gets a second chance at the life she was always meant to have - spoiled, loved, and safe. Worst case it’s a cancer that has spread. Please send all your good thoughts to this girl. She’s spent so long neglected, we want so badly to give her the best years of her life.

🥔 Charlie
Charlie, our little potato, has stolen hearts left and right. He’s gained 10 pounds since coming to the rescue and is finally starting to show that he’s healing. His skin infection still needs extended antibiotics and he began an additional treatment for chronic diarrhea today. The vet believes he’s about 7–8 years old and has likely suffered untreated ear infections his entire life. His elbows are rough with thick callouses from years spent lying on concrete, yet he wags his tail the moment his foster mom speaks. To think of all he’s endured makes us ache and to see the unconditional love he still shows for humans is yet another reminder of why we do this work for them.

😎 Biggie
Biggie was in for a recheck of the corneal tear we’ve been treating for the last week and the good news is - it’s healing well! He’ll stay on eye drops a little longer, but his progress is great. This big boy is proof of how resilient these dogs can be when given the care they deserve. He’s been such a good boy for all his eye drops, we are so proud of him.

💛 A special thank you
We are endlessly grateful to our fosters who open their homes and hearts to dogs with extra medical needs. Your dedication - the rides to appointments, all the meds, extra baths, the daily care, the love you pour in, makes all the difference. These souls are now thriving because of you and we couldn’t be more thankful. You have changed their whole world.

Thank you to our awesome veterinary partners at Faithful Friends Animal Society and Middletown Veterinary Hospital for all they do for our dogs, the excellent care they give and for always fitting our pups in when they need it.

🌸 To our community
We can’t do this work without you. Vet bills for three dogs in one day add up quickly and we are asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the size, goes directly to their care - giving Hunny Bear her chance at surgery, Charlie relief from years of suffering and Biggie the gift of a healing eye.

💌 Please consider donating today. Together, we can rewrite their stories, show them all the love and give them all the continued medical care they need and deserve.
