D & G's Paws and Claws Snack Shack 5356 U.S. 68 NORTH WILMINGTON OHIO. Our facility is next to R & L Transfer on 68, approximately 1/4 mile from I-71. Look for that beautiful American Flag.

We are very excited to be in an area where we can offer convenience, flexibility and a whole lot of tail wagging. Our location offers: holistic pet foods and treats, toys, leashes, collars, dog training (classes as well as individual and in home sessions), doggie day school and kennel free boarding. Doggie Day School: is all about individual attention and playtime in a social environment with othe

r temperament tested dogs who love to interact with people and other dogs. We pride ourselves about being a step above many doggie daycares. Your best friend will enjoy a day of play, socialization, individual help with special issues as well as walks. We keep our doggie day school small in numbers to allow us to provided individual time with your best friend. Doggie Day School/Boarding: We are offer boarding in a limited fashion, all dogs spending the night with us must be temperament tested in order to play with our Doggie Day School students. We are a kennel free facility, however we do have crates for those friends who enjoy some den time instead of sleeping on their very own air mattress with blankets. We will only board 10 dogs at a time to ensure your best friend has as much fun on their vacation as you do yours. A staff member always spends the night at our facility. Training classes/individual help: We offer a wide variety of classes and flexible days and times to our friends. At D & G's we don't believe a dog is just a dog, we believe your dog is your family member and love helping you and your best friend create a lifetime bond of trust, respect and love.

Rita is an adoptable from PAWS Humane Society, Inc. Who has been staying with us for more than 12 weeks while we work through some emotional and physical issues. Yesterday was an amazing day for this amazing woman. My heart sang as she watched the R&L flag and then enjoyed some soccer time with me. The sunshine was so healing for her. We hope everyone was able to take in the love of sunshine and find some calm in your world.

Remember Rita Moreno? First of all I want to send a huge thank you to Kara Goble - Animal Communicator for giving Rita a voice so we could move forward with to help with some pain and discomfort Rita had acquired from some trauma contributing to some of her undesirable behaviors. Rita will be ready for adoption hopefully within the next few months, but until then, we will be posting her progress along with this amazing smile. PAWS Humane Society, Inc.

This is socialization. Rita and I simply sat in the parking lot during high traffic time from R&L employees getting off work and day school dogs were being picked up. All we are working on is calm and desensitization to noises, people, dogs, kids, and cars all by doing nothing. First picture shows how stressed she was then she moves into reactive mode and then calm. This entire process was over a 45 minute time span. We want to thank our parents for being so supportive as they were leaving to help Rita move forward.

If you remember, Rita Moreno is our foster kid from PAWS Humane Society, Inc. . Rita is an amazingingly intelligent woman who loves working as hard as she likes to play. Over the last several days her and I have been working on something new for both of us. Please excuse my mechanics for the center. This one has been hard for me, but hopefully, within the next few days, I'll get it so she can shine.
