🐾 Healing Your Heeling Seminar Recap 🐾

We had an incredible time at the “Healing Your Heeling” seminar with the amazing dog trainer, Matthew Twitty from Start to Finish Dog Training! 🙌

Matthew shared so many valuable insights and practical techniques that will help us all improve our dogs' heeling skills and strengthen the bond with our furry companions. We also dove into the foundations of Open and Utility exercises, gaining a deeper understanding of how to set our dogs up for success in these advanced obedience skills. From understanding the mechanics of heeling to effective training exercises, it was truly an educational experience for everyone involved. 🐶✨

A big THANK YOU to Matthew for generously sharing your expertise and knowledge with us. We’re excited to put what we learned into practice and continue building positive training experiences with our dogs. 💡

🐾 Dog of the Week: Rikki the Black Lab! 🐾

We’re thrilled to introduce this week’s shining star, Rikki, the incredibly sweet and enthusiastic Black Lab! 🌟

Rikki’s boundless energy and affectionate nature make her a joy to be around. Not only is she sensitive and attentive, but she’s also a powerhouse in the performance arena. In her very first rally trial, she scored two impressive 99s, showcasing her sharp focus and dedication. 🏆

Rikki’s impressive achievements don’t stop there. She’s earned three Master Hunter passes, competed in field trial derbies, and even shines in agility. Her versatility and drive are truly inspiring!

When she’s not competing, Rikki loves to indulge in her favorite hobbies—swimming and running alongside her mom. 🌊🏃‍♀️ And let’s not forget her absolute favorite toy: anything she can retrieve! Her enthusiasm for fetching is unmatched.

Meet Reuben, an incredible 2.5-year-old Smooth Collie, who’s making waves at Carolina Dog Sports! 🎉

Reuben isn’t just charming with his smooth coat and stunning conformation experience—he’s also a star in the ring and in class. He proudly holds his Rally Novice title and Beginner Novice Obedience title, as well as his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certification. 🏅✨

This lovable guy is a true people-pleaser, spreading joy wherever he goes. Whether he's showing off his obedience skills or soaking up attention from his human friends, Reuben's enthusiasm and gentle nature are truly heartwarming.
