This sweet kitty named Luna, was able to cross over the rainbow bridge last month. She was able to do it in her favorite bed in the sunshine!

Her owner asked me to come help her pass peacefully at home, and despite her advanced kidney failure, she was so comfortable, she ate a treat before she passed!

From this past Friday’s euthanasia in the home:

“Thank you, Julie! We so much appreciated your kindness & compassion. We will miss our sweet girl, but so grateful for a peaceful ending. M. is in a better place ❤️🐾🐾”

When people ask me how I could do this part of veterinary medicine for a living, the reasons why are many. This gratitude that these grieving pet parents took the time to share with me and knowing I am helping provide a peaceful ending to their pet’s life of unconditional love, are two big reasons why I serve people and their animals in this way. It’s a beautiful calling…💕
