Please follow Goober’s page and invite your friends to do the same. Unfortunately, if we don’t find his new family soon, we’re going to have to give him to a program better suited to doing so.

Also, we are looking for help. If you’d be willing to board Goober when neither of his foster’s are available, do doggie daycare, walks, or donate towards his expenses please contact Shanisa at 302-312-3736.

Goober is looking for his furever family!

Goober is an approximately 5 year old neutered male. He weighs around 70lbs. He’s up to date on all of his vaccines. Goober is very smart and has learned how to leave his outside toys outside and with reminders leave his inside toys inside. He’s very sweet and is a great companion for car rides.

Goober loves to tear up a squeaky toy, play tug of war, and sniff his way around the neighborhood. However, his favorite thing is to spend time with his person.

Goober has some trauma so will need a patient and faithful soul to continue his training and support him through the 3 days it will take him to decompress, 3 weeks it will take him to learn your routine, and 3 months he’ll need to feel at home. Goober’s love and loyalty to you will be well worth the wait. His best match has experience with large breeds and dogs that have experienced trauma. Goober loves meeting new people, so if you’re interested in meeting him, please contact Shanisa at 302-312-3736.

If you’re looking for a hero, Goober is that guy. In spite of all my shenanigans and the many times I was warned not to do this, he still came back to save me🤦🏾‍♀️🤣.
