Spending the weekend with Sir Archibald McCrain. He's been in the cone of shame for over 2 weeks now and he can't wait to get it off! He gets a little reprieve when we go for walks and when I'm able to watch him like a hawk in the house.

You may notice his sister is missing from the pictures. Miss Layna crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday to be with her sister, Nena. Archie only got to be with her for a short time after he was rescued from the shelter. But in that time, he learned a lot from her. We're both in mourning and comforting each other with lots of cuddles. Thank you for all the memories Miss Layna and for being the best girl! 💞

Last day with these two! Luckily I don't have to wait too long to see them again as I'm scheduled to be here at the end of next month 😁

Almost halfway through my week with these two! My client feeds two stray cats, so I've been feeding them too. So far, I've only been able to get a picture of one. I call him Midnight. I've seen the other one but it was as I was opening the back door and Charlie chased it away. We're working on trying to get him to be nice to the cats.

More pets go missing on 4th of July than any other day! Please take every precaution to ensure your pets safety. I've seen dogs literally shaking and panting in the corner, inconsolable, with fear! I've seen dogs bloody their paws trying scratch their way through a door because they were so scared. Be proactive not reactive!

Also, if you're hosting a party or take your dog to one, please make sure they don't eat anything harmful! Tell your guests not to feed them or keep them separated from the party.

The Fourth of July is coming quickly. Please be prepared for your pets safety.
