As a self employed business owner, I try really hard to acknowledge the other self employed businesses and people who I receive great service or goods from and also may just keep someone else from getting ripped off if they have a true and honest account of someone else’s good or bad experiences. It’s important!!
It helps grow their business the same as great referrals and word of mouth does mine. Not only that, these people need those good comments to keep going, same as I do.
Social media is the best platform to
do that with since it is far reaching.
Most people I know are involved in the horse industry. 99% of those are self employed. They need the good reviews and comments to keep their business afloat, pay their bills and feed their families while they work at something they love and are passionate about.
With all that being said, when your vet gets your horse sound and your winning, let your friends know,
when your farrier does a great job on your horses feet,
let your friends know,
when your massage girl or pemf person helps your horse, let your friends know,
when your saddle maker gets the perfect fitting tree for a hard to fit horse, let your friends know,
when a trainer does a great job let your friends know,
when your feed or hay guy provides you with a product that your horses love and look better on, let your friends know
and when your dental person makes your horse more comfortable and they eat and perform better, let your friends know!!!
It does take a second to help someone’s small business and help your friends not fall into the bad traps we have all been in.
We need to do better for the people that
are taking care of our prized possessions!!
