Spring has sprung and Mother’s Day is right around the corner! It’s important to know what types of flowers are safe to gift to people with cats! Popular flowers such as lilies, azaleas, chrysanthemums, tulips, daffodils, and more can be very harmful to our furry family members! Causing liver and kidney damage, excessive drooling, GI upset (vomiting, diarrhea), and can even be fatal if consumed unknowingly and left untreated. Instead consider gifting flowers that are safe for all pets such as roses (with thorns removed), sunflowers, orchids, daisy’s, marigolds, pansies, and more!
