Times are tough but Bo and his kids deserve to continue his happy ending! Bo Needs Surgery — Let’s Help Him Get Back to the Life He Loves 🐾💔 Once rescued in a whole litter of unwanted puppies and mama from under a dilapidated trailer in Clearlake, Bo landed in the arms of our incredible rescue angels where he struck gold with his family. Bo has recently been diagnosed with a torn ligament and needs TPLO surgery as soon as possible. Without it, he can’t walk, run, or play like he used to. Bo is in pain — and it’s heartbreaking to watch. He’s been such a bright light in his family's life, and right now, they need our help.
Bo isn’t “just a dog.” He’s mom’s office buddy, dad’s walking partner, his kiddos best friend, a joy-bringer, and the soul of his family’s home. He’s an expert bubble popper, a loyal kid guardian, an unstoppable beach hole digger, and the happiest road trip co-pilot you’ll ever meet. He fits into his family’s life so perfectly — it’s as if he was always meant to be with them.
Watching him limp, struggle, and be held back by pain is devastating. The surgery he needs costs $5600–$6,100, and after already putting money toward diagnostics, his family is doing everything they can to make this happen. But they can’t do it alone. They are tirelessly working to scrape together donations from friends and family members.
They’re not asking for a handout — just a little help from a community that understands how deep the bond between a dog and their people really is. Bo’s family will cover what they can, but we’re hoping to ease the financial pressure so they can focus on what really matters: helping Bo heal.
