San Vicente Ranch Horse Boarding & Training We are a complete horse boarding and training facility. We are a 24/7 business that cares for your horse.

We have a 150 x 225 lava sand riding arena which can be ridden in year round. A 50 ft beach sand round pen, a small obstacle course, tack and trailer storage and a hot wash rack. We offer blanketing services, worming schedules, farrier and vet appointment help.

We're proud to share the origins of our "San Vicente Horse Boarding" name, rooted in a rich family history. Here's the inspiring story... Brian's grandfather, D.E. Scarbery, was a ranching innovator who established a thriving polled Hereford cow ranch in Ramona, California which spanning many years. His remarkable achievements included having one of his bulls cast in the movie "A Rare Breed". As Grandpa Scarbery passed on the torch, he gifted Brian the original SVR brand, urging him to safeguard the family's heritage. We're honored to carry on this legacy, naming our horse boarding business to keep the San Vicente Ranch name alive and celebrate the enduring spirit of D.E. Scarbery. ❤️

Our Story

We are a complete horse boarding and training facility. We are a 24/7 business that cares for your horse. We have a 150 x 225 lava sand riding arena which can be ridden in year round. A 50 ft beach sand round pen, a small obstacle course, tack and trailer storage and a hot wash rack. We offer blanketing services, worming schedules, farrier and vet appointment help.We also offer horse training clinics, summer and holiday kids camps and regular horseback riding lessons for everyone. We have two trainers that work out of our facility, Elaine Mancini who has over 35 + years of teaching both English and Western riding lessons. Carlie Scarbery who is a Clinton Anderson (Downunder Horsemanship) Method Ambassador. She can help you and your horse work together at making a better relationship using the Downunder Horsemanship Method. Our staff has years of equine experience and has been servicing the community since 2002.
