We’ve been getting our horses legged up early this year, those hay bellies are disappearing ✨

Aliah and Mindy have been rocking it. Unfortunately, she is scheduled to be bred this year and their time will come to an end soon for the season. Our old lady horse (Lilly) had a horrible winter with all the ice, so we’re trying to get her sound. Whiskey is not a kids horse, Typsy is too young 🤦🏼‍♀️ I’m a horse short! lol

Vet work, special farrier work, Injections, chiro, supplements, massage, you name it, we’re trying it on Lilly. But retirement is looking like the most likely option 😣 She can still get around well, just not speed events at this time. She will live out her days here, whether she is a pasture puff or a walk-trot horse for my two youngest around the farm.

The struggle is real right now but we’re carrying on 😬
