We decided to process our pigs and take them to a meat plant and we got almost 300 lbs in meat from our 2 pigs 🐷 our freezers are full up 😅

I believe all livestock should only have 1 bad day in their life, whether they are raised for food or being a pet. This was a learning experience for sure and we will probably do pigs again in the future. I still want one for a pet that we will hold onto. 💁🏼‍♀️😅

Our oldest hens, rooster, and ducks got to explore their new chicken run today for the first time. They were thrilled! Hopefully in the next month or so our youngsters will be able to join them 🤩🐔
