January has been an absolutely crazy, crazy month so far and a lot of changes are coming to help with the extreme growth we have seen since opening in October!

I’ll be responding to messages throughout the day, have a lot of pictures coming your way this evening, and we have an extension on our coloring book fundraiser due to an exciting addition!

🚨Foster Needed🚨
Can anyone foster this sweet girl so we can pull her? She is great with cats, and very energetic around dogs. She does need to be kenneled when left alone. Very sweet girl!

🚨Did you know that city ordinance is written to allow for individuals who have the 3 pet maximum, to still foster for a rescue as long as proper reporting is done by the rescue to the ACO!? This is HUGE!🚨

What this means is YOU can help US save lives! If you have been holding off on fostering because of this, please reach out! We have so many cats and dogs who really need foster care right now so we can continue to pull from the pound and other emergency surrenders!

This is why we love our awesome Animal Control Officer who works above and beyond her job description to make sure all the pound animals have rescue placement once off stray hold! Her and I are in contact almost daily brainstorming how to make sure all the babies get taken care of!! ❤️❤️❤️

Update: Foster found!! Thank you guys so much for the much needed quick response!
🚨 URGENT-FOSTER NEEDED🚨

This boy, who we are calling Spartan, is a Rottweiler estimated to be 2 years old. He was dumped but the person who temporarily brought him in lives in a camper and is unable to care for him after 5:00pm tomorrow!

He sits, stays, loves to play in the snow, and is potty trained. He is a big lover boy and has shown zero aggression toward anyone or other dogs. He was trying to play with a jackrabbit, so I would guess he could be around cats.

If you can temporarily let this sweet big boy into your home until we can place him into a long-term foster and have him vetted and ready to adopt, please message the page ASAP!

These are the types of things you see in rescue all too often. This is a bullet fragment surgically extracted from a kitty’s leg, he was one of our pound pulls who a partner rescue took into care for us when we needed to make room for cats on the euthanasia list. We have a $283 vet bill from just this surgery alone, not including his other routine needs.
