The Role:
-Friday & Saturday shifts at our Willis facility (7am-10am and 4pm---7pm)
-Supervising our boarding and daycare pups during outdoor play time
-Feeding, caring for, and keeping our furry guests safe and happy
-Occasional Thursday/Sunday coverage when needed
-Opportunity to pick up in-home pet sitting visits for extra hours

Lone Star Pet Sitting and Dog Walking is now looking to bring on new team members! We are in need of predominantly evening and weekend sitters that live within or near the Willis/Conroe area!
Responsibilities of the position include visiting client's pets across our service area (Conroe and Willis) to provide pet care, dog walking, etc. and/or working at our Willis facility during Board & Play Shifts. We are currently looking to hire at part time during training before increasing hours as training is completed depending on your ideal schedule and availability.

Requirements:
-Reliable transportation
-Pass background check
-Trustworthy and reliable
-Great with animals and knows how to watch for social cues
-Must be able to walk 2+ miles per day in varying weather
-Great people and pet skills
-Enjoy being outdoors
-Patient
-Able to work flexible hours
-Must have smartphone
-Can commit to working with us for at least 6 months
-Available to work on major holidays
-An understanding of cats and dogs
-Previous pet care experience preferred
-Weekend and/or evening availabilities preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In-Home Visits: make multiple visits per day (ex: morning, dinnertime, or evening) to our client’s homes to care for their precious pets. This also includes walking dogs mid day while clients are away at work.
Play Yard Supervising: This includes the sitter(you) coming to our facility in Willis and supervising play time with the boarding and daycare dogs, in addition to feeding and caring for our client’s pups while they stay with us. We are a primarily outdoor facility.
House Sitting: This includes spending the night in our client’s homes with their pets.
We currently are in need of pet sitters and dog walkers in central and northern Conroe and all parts of Willis.
We ask that applicants live in or very close to these towns to reduce your drive time between visits.
