Fun fact Sulcata tortoises are proficient diggers and often create burrows to escape extreme temperatures or predators. These burrows can be quite extensive, providing them with a secure and comfortable retreat. In the wild, these tortoises are known to dig burrows that are several feet deep, offering a refuge from both the scorching African sun and potential threats!

Let’s start this Tuesday with a burst of knowledge! Did you know that ring-tailed lemurs are expert sunbathers, spending a significant amount of time warming up in the morning sun? Their distinctive black-and-white ringed tails also serve as a communication tool within their social groups.
