Lyndwood Eliminators (Nostalgic drag racing) Nostalgic drag racing Dedicated to the discovery, preservation and restoration of Lyndwood Dragster Chassis, built by the late Patrick J.

Bilbow of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. His son, Bob followed in his footsteps as he restored, raced and now tours w/a Lyndwood Chassis. It is my hope, to have a compilation of anyone that ever owned, drove or was affiliated w/the Lyndwood Welding drag cars. My old Lyndwood which I sold to Robert Halye had the old girl at opening day for the Vintage Eliminator race at South Mountain Raceway. Not only was he racing he lined up against his uncle in my Bantam roadster which he bought last year.

I received the following message from James Riley, son of New Jersey racer Jim Riley who started his racing career in a Lyndwood Eliminator II. The Riley Bros. went on to run other dragsters and were talented enough to win the A Dragster class at IRP in 1965.

"Rich, I've never seen my dad's Class Winner Photo until this week. I saw someone post like five Class Winner Photos from 65' on a Dragster FB page so I sent him a DM asking if he had my dad's. He sent me this with an hour."
