This gorgeous brindle girl, Paisley, has been a resident at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter for 2 plus years now. No one notices her, no one asks to meet her.

Paisley is about 5 years old and came in to the shelter as an owner surrender. It’s so hard to believe that there is not one single person out there that can open their heart and home to a beautiful girl like her.

Paisley is looking for a home with an experienced owner, kids 17 and up. She is house trained, sweet, wiggly, and lots of fun! Paisley loves walks, playing ball, and jogging, so an active family with a fenced in yard would be terrific for her. In addition to loving an active lifestyle, Paisley also knows how to chill and just be by your side.

Paisley sometimes can be nervous with new people but once she gets to know you she is sweet, loving, and affectionate. She gives tons of kisses, takes treats gently and is eager to please. She enjoys time with other medium to large dogs but can sometimes be bossy-- as always a meet and greet is required by the shelter for your entire family including your other dog if you have one. Paisley is not a fan of cats.

Won’t you please give Paisley the chance she deserves - all she wants is to be loved.

Just got in a shawnazer 3 years old has shots updated and fixed just needs new home without small children. Is hyper
and potty trained. Needs new home due to nipping at a new baby. Please help find him a forever home.
