🤠 Howdy Nash! 🤠Just before our vacation I had the pleasure of training this handsome boy! Before training Nash was becoming increasingly reactive to all things, people and dogs alike. He’d pull hard on the leash, zig zag all over, bark and even lunge. At just under a year, he was like most young dogs and typical Heelers. He lacked confidence, focus, and the ability to chill for any amount of time. He was hard to manage inside the house, because his Heeler brain was always go, go, go.Nash just needed to be shown the ropes. He learned how to shut off his brain for some r & r, but also how to stay focused when we were on the go. This boy loved to train and work! Little dogs need training too!!

Tank and Fufu are two little terrier mixes that just completed their board and trains with Bert.

Tank is a sweet girl, who needed a confidence boost and general manner/obedience overhaul.

Fufu was newly adopted and causing his new mom a little trouble. He had a couple scuffles at the beach and was becoming increasingly reactive to people and things he didn’t know.

And we are back in action!!

Say hello to “Tank!” 👋

This one year old little terrier mix is joining Bert for her 2 week Tailblazer. Over all she’s a pretty good girl who has some typical young dog behaviors, like jumping or being easily distracted. She’s a couple days in and already off to a great start!

We’re moving… exact date TBD. My calendar is closed until further notice. Come mid-March -if we’re still here- I may open it again for a couple slots. I’m referring all inquiries training and boarding to Bert. He currently only has one training spot available in the first week of March if anyone is interested! I also have a couple more referrals to fellow trainer buddies.

As many of you know, Florida has been in our sights for a long time. Heck, we were suppose to have moved there back in September of 2023, and then little Declan made himself known and we weren’t ready to take on a new place with a newborn. Now with most of our village in Florida currently, that itch, that need to be out there grows stronger by the minute. I need my village. It’s been too hard without them. Cali just ain’t it for us anymore and Florida is calling us.

I’ve been dragging my feet a little in making this announcement. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, we could be looking at another few months. I don’t want to disappoint any clients or friends, my heart breaks a little every time I tell someone the news. I also fear saying it out loud sometimes might make it not come to fruition. But it IS happening. We’re just waiting on exact word for Andy’s job.

This is incredibly bittersweet. I’ve got a good thing going here; I am so blessed to have been able to start my own company, be successful, be happy doing my own thing. I’ve been honored to help so many doggos and their humans and have met amazing clients who have turned into family. Wish I could pack y’all up and take you with us.

I will always be “here” for training advice or conversation. Just shoot me a text or DM, we can FaceTime or zoom. 💌

This sweet girl went home to her sweet family last night!

Wednesday came to me, no stranger to trainer. She knew her basics, but could be easily distracted and even nervous in some situations making it hard for her to follow through. During her 10 Day Leashed Rover board and train she worked on faster response time, focus, and learning how to settle. Here’s a sneak peak of her “transformation!”

Hello Gorgeous 👋 This pretty girl is Wednesday!

She’s already the goodest gurl, she just needs a little refinement! Her owner started her off right with some group classes to for the basics and to work on exposure with other dogs and people. Wednesday “knows” the act of doing some commands, often times at her own pace and doesn’t quite hold them long term. Her mom signed her up for our 10 day Leashed Rover board and train to sharpen her skills, learn a more proper heel, and to teach her how to settle so they can go on more fun outings!

‘Pepper’ just started her Puppy EmBARKment series!

This cute little girl is smart as can be, especially with a mix of Border Collie and German Shepherd DNA! Her family has done of a lot of good research, but wanted a little extra help to set Pepper up with the best life. 👏🏻

Say hi to Trampy! 👋🏻 She’s a 5 month old doodle!

This cute little pup is sister to Lady, who trained with me back in January ’23. Hence the name- Lady and the Tramp-y! 🐕🐩

Her mom was questioning if she “had a brain,” who jumps all over, eats everything off the ground, doesn’t pay any attention or have follow through. She’s a typical hyper puppy who needs some guidance slowing down a minute to think. Her brain is definitely there, it was just a bit scattered. I can see her wheels turning and she’s already picking things up well!

Pretty girl, Luna, graduated from her 2 week Tailblazer over the weekend. This girl went from distracted and overly excited to focused while still keeping her pizzazz for life!
